I wonder, what are the Gaga dedicated forums saying? I mean, I don't think that too many people here at AHS are super Gaga fans, so I'm wondering what the reaction is from the hardcore fans?

Kind of disappointed... it's ugly :( I mean usually she does ugly in such a 'cool' way, but this is just... yuck.

Erm... Took me a few moments to understand what's going on there, and... I don't like it. It's just a little too odd for me. Also, I don't dig her makeup.

Now that I've downloaded the album, and have this cover on iTunes... it creeps me out.
I'm going to change it to the lead single's cover...

In the begining I really didn't like it at all. But as time has gone by, it's starting to grow in me a little bit. I still don't think it's anything great, but I'm at a point where I can at least accept it. But I plan on getting the special edition of the album, so I won't have to look at the gaga-cycle too much anyways. The special edition cover however, I do actually like.

I think the cover is the only thing that's not going to grow on me about this album. Both versions are atrocious. The Deluxe is slightly better because it doesn't have that tacky font on it, but even that is ruined by the ridiculous "GRRR!" face she's making. I expected another symbolic and instantly iconic design like "The Fame Monster" had, but instead we got...this. :(

There are quite a few very good fanmade covers out there, though, and I've found one I'll definitely be using in iTunes and maybe even printing out to put in my CD case. It's similar, but much easier on my eyes:
