Well, she looks great, but I wish there was more dancing or....anything really lol.

SURREAL__RAINBOW 17th June 2011 02:28 AM

I think it's mediocre, and she needed to jump off the building at the end, or something.

So... what's next? lol Hopefully Hair becomes a proper single soon :D

milky_way 17th June 2011 02:49 AM

I'm disappointed that such a good song got such a basic video. I hate the mole too :eviltongu

ストロボ・EdGE 17th June 2011 02:55 AM

This is a ****ing travesty.

Eh Eh's video even has more passion, honesty and energy than this BS. Talk about a rushed, lazy video.

milky_way 17th June 2011 03:04 AM

I liked the concept from the Google Chrome ad better :/
Should've been 5 minutes of that :yes

ストロボ・EdGE 17th June 2011 03:14 AM

It was just... bad. She had on a similar outfit to what she wore during the SNL performance and then she literally just danced around on a set. The End.

It doesn't even have to have eye catching effects like BTW or be flashy like Judas... If it had substance that would have been enough. We know you're a New York girl Gaga, but this doesn't really say much about that anyway.

Apparently the original concept was scrapped (which was filmed with dancers etc.) and they did this rush job in like a day.

CHE.R.RY 17th June 2011 03:25 AM

The video was just ok...not as interesting as Judas :o. Although I'm likin' the outfit she's wearin. Was it just me or did it seriously look like her boob was about to fly out at 3:38? xD

I think I'm over it now. I didn't even like the song in the first place.

I'm glad it's doing good on the charts though. Better than Judas at least, and it wasn't even an official single for a while.

zellyx 17th June 2011 04:03 AM

Dang, I like the mood of the video but that's about it..
Not a fan of the new hair. Always liked the longer blonde hair.
Wish there was some plot or dance :(
I liked Judas' video.
BTW Mv's..
Judas > Born this way > Edge of Glory

Am I the only one who prefers Alejandro, which her fans peg as her worst video, to any video she's made this era? :laugh

you are not alone. alejandro is her best video IMO. nothing comes close, not even bad romance or judas, which are pretty damn good.

NintendoHTF1242 17th June 2011 06:55 AM

I imagined the music video to be a bit more magical, since the song is so...different (to me anyway).

hightea_xx 17th June 2011 07:46 AM

its really telling how bad this video is when the only thing perez can say about the video is "check it out!".

kendelle 17th June 2011 08:08 AM

I didn't think much of TEoG =| I was expecting something more "epic" than what I saw. Although I'm glad it wasn't just her huffing a bunch of drugs xD I was really hoping for something a little more interesting than grinding on the guard railings and thrusting skyward.... :(

Something with her in more epic scenery, hanging from stuff, standing on a cliff maybe.......anything would have been more engaging than that!!

I would say my fave MVs are Paparazzi and Alejandro out of all of them.

The Twin Shadow BTW remix is also really fun, it's the polar opposite to the Jost remix. BTW is just a really good song to remix haha.

I can't deny that the Jost remix is my favourite. The opening is really amazing and sets it apart from all the others I've listened to before.

However after the first verse/chorus it suffers the same fate as all the remixes. It no longer diversifies itself from the original track, sounding like a slightly different beat to the original track and the vocals don't sound changed at all. That's the main reason why I can't help but feel that all western remixes suck xD

Minttulatte 17th June 2011 11:13 AM

That was a simple music video, nuff said. There was something about it that I actually liked but I can't put it to words now at all. But I think that from this era her best music video will always be Judas. That's just gorgeus <3

koumori 17th June 2011 11:13 AM

Idk, most people ask for simplicity and when she gives it...

My opinion is that whilst not an exciting, nor really that interesting, PV - it'll show people she's not always so intense, like with the others. Most Western PV's shown on TV here are like that. To the general public, who obviously don't care as much as Gaga fans about her PV's, they'll probably find it more accessable. She looked really beautiful in it anyway.

zoomzoom 17th June 2011 12:27 PM

I guess I'll be in the minority but I thought the video was perfect. It's exactly what I've been missing from her.

This didn't have any gimmicks, no attempts at being controversial or revolutionary. It was a simple, good looking video for a simple, slightly generic pop song. And it fits.

tokyoxjapanxfan 17th June 2011 12:41 PM

Honestly, it was refreshing. I know it's still early in her career to say this, but eventually, I don't see how she can continue to top herself if every new video is better than the previous (Or, you know, made with that intent in mind, even if fans think otherwise).

I really liked just seeing her, who albeit is still very stylized, dancing around. It reminded me of Rent hehe. At one point when she's dancing we see a shot of her smiling and it was just really really nice...

^ Oh and I agree. On a side note, Poker Face is still her best video, imo. haha. Maybe it's just because it's so iconic. :tipsy

Where are the soldiers, the doctors and the "Enrique Iglesias" type of guy?
