And I still don't understand why does she have to collaborate with URATA again? Doesn't she understand that their voices don't match and that the song they did together was... hasn't she heard it yet? And I have a feeling that the collaboration with JUNO will be some mellow ballad or sth close to r'n'b. And there is always BUT - in the end, she might even surprise me in a positive way.

^I think she likes the song they did together and likes working with him. She looked like she had a load of fun filming the Dream ON PV with him and performing live with him.
I really like the song actually. It's a bunch of Engrish but I find her Engrish cute lol & it's catchy. I believe a lot of ayu fans like her experimenting with different styles as well. I hope this new song with him is also a different style than usual.

Their vocals sounded okay in the song, he is a low/average male singer and she needs to work on her vocals too, hopefully we'll get better vocals from her this time :D

To me, "Dream ON" is like "Bold & Delicious" in that I'm glad she doesn't have a lot of songs like it, but... she's Ayumi Effing Hamasaki. She can afford to do whatever she wants, and it's fun watching her have fun while not giving a crap about maintaining the status quo--if only for one single.

I wouldn't mind a self-indulgent mini-album. I'll start to worry if her next full-length album full of "Dream ON"-esque collaborations.

That said, I think "Dream ON" is an ok song (not nearly as good as "B&D" :D); the only part of "Dream ON" I really don't like is the ad-libbing (?) in the middle. There's a part where it sounds like her voice cracks, and I can't imagine why she would leave that in the final version. It bugs me every time I hear it.
