I emailed the organizer to ask about a possible screening in NYC. We'll see what they say (if anything).

Tattoos are considered gifts? They're not the gifts I would be hoping for (that strap given out at A3DII seems much nicer), but hey - a gift is a gift, I suppose. Who knows, there might be more at the screening!

So the organizer got back to me and said:

Neither confirming nor denying that they might do the screenings elsewhere. So I suppose it could go either way.

I think it depends on turnout, but they're definitely gonna plan more events in the future judging from their questionnaire during purchase. Ask for Ayu again!

Well this definitely inspires me to go even more. If I can help, even just a bit, in getting A3D released around the country, I'm all for it!! I'm hoping tickets will still be available on Friday, when I'll actually be able to buy them.

i wish i could go to this...but i just can't justify spending $300 or more on an airplane ticket, plus hotel room, plus etc... :(

It should be the tattoos, we get those in Singapore too. But those were limited, only some people get them, i entered a bit too late and failed to get... (T__T)

I don't know really... maybe? Since they allow for at the door, I don't know if they expect a sellout but just to be safe and to save money, I suggest getting them asap!

Nice news, but I think it should be great if they play the movie on a special anime, manga and J-culture event such as comicon or so. It will get a lot more intention. But then again, what do I know hehe

I think I'm gonna go! I wanted to approve it with my boss first and when I told him I had to use up my credit I had with the airline before Sept. 2nd, and I told him I was only planning on staying in L.A. for 3 nights, he offered to cover it so that I could leave a day early and spend 4 nights in L.A.!
