I can't shake the feeling that this is somehow a joke. Don't get me wrong as I love Ayu and her music but I wouldn't consider her for this award. It's Best Selling Asian Artist 2012 not Best Artist. Unless she is nominated for her overall sales which are amazing. Correct me if I am wrong in my facts though!

You think all other artists in that list are legit ?

Christina Aguillera, J-lo, Susan Boyle, Selena Gomes, Shy'm, Hyuna maybe other but I don't know all singers in that list but Ayu has nothing to envy in terms of sales IMO ^^

thats what i think is so weird... the website and facebook are so cheap and ridiculous, but then when i watched that namie performance it looks really awesome and professional, AND they have real celebrities there. its so weird. :shrug

I definitely had a problem with trying to access the website. And when I saw the AHS A World is One banner on the Facebook page, my opinion of these awards was not positive. If the World Music Awards is a legit operation this time around, can't they make their own banner? Unless that page is run by a fan then my point about the Facebook page is no longer valid.

They're definitely no Grammys but alot of big names show up to be awarded and party with the Prince, and I'm not just referring to European, African or Asian (Arab, East Asian etc) but I remember Mariah Carey, Celine Dion and Michael Jackson attending. Those are hardly irrelevant celebrities.
