In the first broadcast Ayu asked him to answer in English, but I can only assume when the interviewer was talking to him he answered in Japanese because the host probably doesn't know English. I didn't watch the second broadcast so I can't speculate.

Good idea. I live in Canada but I'm going to vote for NYC or maybe LA since they're within a reasonable traveling distance and more likely to be chosen if this ever really happens.
