In all seriousness Ive come to appreciate some of her old ballads but I'd be ok if she never released another generic ballad. We have ayu for that (not that I don't like her cheezy ballads). Songs like WOML are great. But if she waited to release another cheezy ballad then it's effect will be much stronger. It won't seem as formulaic.

I don't listen to her old ballads very often but I do love them! BEST~BOUNCE&LOVERS~ is one of my favorite releases, I think it's a nice compilations of beautiful songs :)

KuuXAyu-fan 27th March 2015 09:27 PM

Well you guys may not like her ballads but they always went well with the Japanese public. All of her ballad singles in the past 10 years have been certified by the RIAJ digitally for at least 100,000+ copies sold digitally. (with the exception of Alive)

oaristos 27th March 2015 09:43 PM

Yes, her ballads may have been successful throughout the years but I don't think she cares about it anymore, which ended up with the release of an exceptional studio album, free of what used to bring her commercial success in the past. It took her fifteen years to find her own path and I'm glad she finally did!

thinkingoutloud89 27th March 2015 10:13 PM

Its funny how peopel still demand singles but don't want ballads. Just decides folks. If there wouldn't be singles, you would get a wides pectrum of songs too choose from - if you sill wnat singles, you also have to live with the genres you don't like that much. I want another hands, you, AUnmei, Aisho, Sukie de, Anata dake ga or Koishikute anytime.

edit: and really, people are starting to make a connetcion between the finally free line and her not realeasing a a ballad single? I don't think this albums strays to far from her usual sound, its just more westernized.

I like Kuu ballads, I just don't like generic ones. That's why I always praise Feel My Mind's ballads. They were amazing. They were versitile. After Ai no Uta's success I think she/avex thought they would bring the $$$$

Minttulatte 28th March 2015 01:00 AM

No more songs like Koishikute? This makes me sad. I loved them into bits. :'( Oh well, I'll just hope she doesn't completely stop doing them because Kuu's ballads are the best. You may hate them as much as you want, but they're still better than anyone else's. At least to me they are. Nobody else can make me cry my eyes out with their ballads like Kuu. I need those in my life. ;_;

Zeke. 28th March 2015 01:07 AM

I cry too cause they bore me to tears.

Why the Live History DVD BOOK is not available in cdjapan?

Gustavopc 28th March 2015 01:35 AM

That DVD is not published/distributed by avec itself, I wouldn't expect it to be found in any website... Maybe amazon.jp?

thinkingoutloud89 28th March 2015 02:14 AM

Well kosihikute isn't anything like ai no uta, yume no uta etc.... neither is ai wo tomonaide

orangeakira 28th March 2015 03:34 AM

Praise the all mighty lord that this album doesn't have a generic ~snow falling or rain downpour/dead boyfriend/cellphone/yearning/crying/emotional breakdown~ ballad.

I know it's been two years since Koishikute, but she has so many similar ballads it doesn't feel like it's been that much since the last one lol i like its PV though, the orchestra scenes looks stunning.

Less of Koishikute and more of Imagine please!!

THIS.
It's not that her ballads are bad or anything, it is just that ballads like Koishikute or Ai No Uta are good and epic at the beginning but get really boring over time, at least to me they do. I can't listen to Bon Voyage without skipping Koishikute (It got boring and it doesn't even fit in the album imo).

I couldn't live with her not releasing any ballads but I certainly could live with her not releasing ballads like koishikute, though.

WAHHHHH. Just watched the FC Live and I loved it. So. Much. Nostalgia. Ugh.

BlackSilence 28th March 2015 05:50 AM

Delicious n Bold 28th March 2015 05:50 AM

Im livid. Those are the pics I wanted in the album photobook! Friggen Slavex.

Could you possibly scan the pamphlet in HQ?

Lee^ChaN 28th March 2015 06:00 AM

^ I'm sorry, but I don't have a scanner :(
And it's so freaking huge. 14 papers of A1 size, folded into A2 size.
I hope someone with scanner can help us with HQ pics.
