Anybody have any clue to the set list for the new tour?

Why is GACKT's Instagram (@gackt) verified but 'private' (protected; must follow before viewing posts) since sometime in December 2018???

^that's interesting. I've been following him since he showed up on Insta, had no idea he's set it to private. Although with him posting a hell of a lot of pretty much nudes, i can understand that :D

The only thing recently that he did that made me smile was him meeting up and catching up with HYDE. That was lovely to see them in one photo!

Also he's constantly saying that his throat is fucked after shows, even back in the day i remember him writing in an e-mail that his voice is gone. He needs to stop with bad technique.

^topless is an understatement xD Like if you go lower you'd see everything.... that's how topless he is in some pictures xD But yeah he's posted a lot of after shower selfies. Not anymore though, but he used to do that a LOT when he first popped up on insta. I was so amused lol His profile consists of old material aka music/live clips, training videos and a few random selfies sprinkled here and there with occasional promo posts. You are not missing a lot. He seems to have another account too, which is also set to private, i assume that one is run by his staff or something, but it's still not public. It's weird.

As for his Instagram, it has been private for quite a while now. I don't know why he did that. I believe I started following him while it was still public. To be honest, I don't keep up with Gackt's social media very much because he keeps posting workout videos endlessly. They are funny but I'm tired of them.:tipsy

So..... My friend went to his anniversary live and boy was she...erm...angry??? lol
First of all, ticket prices are out of this world. The lowest is 10,000yen and up, when his R&R|| tour was like 7800yen and was of MUCH higher production value and quality..she said premium as he always had, is 30,000 for this, and now he has DIAMOND which apparently has a "meet&greet" included...But um, that shit's.........60,000yen LOL (who the fuck he thinks he is? The Beatles????) The whole "meet and greet" though, is just a fancy name, cuz all you get is according to her friends who did have that, is standing in a shady hallway with a group of other fans waiting for an hour to be let in, and when you do, he just goes by giving high-fives to each person not even looking at them, you have a group photo taken with him without ANY chit chat or words exchanged and that's IT. FOR 60,000 FUCKING YEN!!
She said she and another girl she's with is debating to go or not to the rest of the shows that she's got (i think she's got like 3 more, one of which is premium) BECAUSE, according to her, the show, turned the great stuff that he did in his carrer into some weird, sometimes borderline cringy experiences and felt like he was literally mocking his whole career, which seems to be the theme in this tour and that his whole approach on the things he's used to be so passionate about is REALLY bothering her, considering it's a 20 year anniversary of his career!. She said she wanted to sell the tickets but apparently the shows are not selling out and you can still get the tickets on the day of the concert. The saddest part of this is, she added - Chacha and You are gone, HE SAID NOTHING, NOWHERE. She ended up saying that she feels like he's becoming an ego centric douchbag for her to even consider flying to Japan for any of his upcoming projects in the future.

Now let me tell you, this girl i've known for a decade, she's been a devoted fan, frequently going to japan for his concerts and for her to say that, it's not good.... I mean i've seen stuff coming, but, i really thought he would make this right, like i had no idea he would part ways with his "comrades", people who stood on the same stage supporting him for more than a decade and wouldn't say a word about it. I don't know i just find it weird. And to add to that, to mock things that actually gave him the name he's known for? I mean i don't know....Although making a joke out of "big news" with some music snippet playing on last years aprils fools' was a sign that music career has became a bit of a joke for him. I mean it all could be just a PPOV but he has changed, and a LOT.

Honestly i am so conflicted about how I feel about him now, like, one part of me is sad, angry and confused as to WTF happened to him, and the other still has hope he's gonna come back with something really good that will make everyone remember what he was known for. I'm so on the fence right now...

^tbf it is his career and he can mock it and since he was always over the top this could also be quiet funny. fans who get angry about that are way too serious. Moreover he wouldn't be the first artist ever to complete departure from ways off doing something, even hating it and make it verbal.

That said, what do Japanese fans say? I would like to hear some other opinions.

My friend actually ended up changing her mind after going to a few more, and said that "apart from a few odd choices, it was a solid, typical GACKT concert" she added that it made her look at it in a less "wtf" way because she knew what she was in for for the rest of the dates that she attended and quite enjoyed those.. Although she's still said the pricing is mad for what it is. lol

Just realised Gackt's concerts have been uploaded to YouTube too. I have never seen one of his tours before so started with Training Days 2006. What a setlist - Fragance, Emu ~For My Dear~, Ash

Well,since Gackt was so generous for uploading all of his live concerts on YouTube I finally had the chance to watch the last two.
I have got to say that both live concerts Last Moon and Khaos were such a chore to sit and watch through I ended up fast forwarding both concerts.
From Last Moon I only liked LULLING and Setsugekka even though I am totally sure he lip synced during both of these performances. Last Moon surely had a budget going on behind it but the story is just so boring.
And it seems that he kinda just ran with the idea of using that Moon Saga theatrical play as a basis for his tour.
I am aware that it is about Yoshitsune a great swordsman and general but man those were some cringeworthy moments. And his acting is like straight out of those Hindi TV shows with constant stareing between actors with no lines spoken.
Khaos was like even worse. I didn't like it at all.
Saving grace of the concert for me was when a bunch of sexy shirtless dudes came up on stage and I was pretty much staring at them while they were up there.
At one point he was just screaming at the audience back and forth I know that he was trying to pump the atmosphere but that was just too damn long.
I was expecting something grand because he was celebrating his anniversary but instead it was really something subpar. I still like him and his music and I know that he still has it , but this is not it.
