To be completely honest, it's gonna blend into anything else she has and i won't be able to tell the difference from any other recent ballad, i'm not feeling it, although it's a beautiful piece, i'm not gonna be playing it on repeat. HOWEVER, i am SO HAPPY it's new music and she proved us wrong :D

I might be in the minority, but I like the arrangement. I don't care that it's same old if it's good same old. Plus, I don't think a song dedicated to her child would be the best opportunity to experiment. Might turn out to be a disaster lol. Best to keep it simple for this one.

Definitely don't like the song, sounds to me like one of her many blank album-filler ballads IMO, it won't find its way to my playlist unfortunately...

Still wasn't expecting her to drop a new single so this is a good surprise, plus the cover is incredible, so whatever!

It's totally not a bad "same old", she's known for her ballads, it's, i'd say one of her trademarks. I actually have no issues with the arrangement either :shrug

However, even with ballads you can, i'd say she did it perfectly with "You are the only one". It's a ballad but it's different, it stands out from her recent stuff, at least to me. I dunno lol.

Just correcting: It's her first song written using kana/kanji but not her first song with a japanese title (Hana, kanariya, HANABI, SAKURA, Zutto..., Sayonara).

I like it. It's beautiful and it 100% fits what she seemed to want. A beautiful track with nothing very crazy happening so the lyrics get she center spot.

Just listened to the spot, not the full song yet. It sounds typical Ayu’s ballad but a bit bland, doesn’t it? But honestly, I’ll take anything at this point. I would had liked a physical release but it’s ok, maybe we’ll see a new album someday.

I find it to be very pretty. But then, I'm really go into her ballads these days. I find the melody to be sweet but deeper than other recent ballads, and I like her voice.

I've been really into her ballads lately as well so this is such a welcome surprise. I google translated the lyrics and its a really sweet song (supposedly) about her son, and I'm really happy she wanted to share it with us. :love

"WORDS" got me worried about her. She seemed depressed and sad during that song.
