PS:.... you guys should be more concerned over the consistent drop of the quality of her songs over the past 2-3 years.

Honestly, I LOVE her newer songs, and can't seem to like her older stuff xD [I can't tell Fly High apart from Boys&Girls at times.. xDD]

Anyways, people are totally 'wrong' to me if they're saying that Ayu's quality has gone down.. if anything, it's not her fault, and it's Max's for choosing crappy composition~ BWEH!

Yeah, that really is subjective. I'd be willing to say that maybe the quality of her singles in 2003/2004 dropped a bit, but this year I thought she made great strides to be better and different. Most notably with Step You, is this LOVE?, alterna, and Will. I think all of those are excellent while fairyland is too run of the mill(still like it though) and Heaven didn't exactly wow me, but I think it's one of the best j-pop ballads so far this year.

So sad... I thought that Shinobi was coming out on the 14th, same day as the single, but I guess it isn't??... I'll bet it'll sell more when the movie comes out, and everyone hears what a fabulous song it is.

sales never mattered. MAYBE THEY ARE RIGGED. lol j/k but yah ayu didnt make #1 single until Love ~Destiny~ and all her singles before that were totally awesome and didn't get good ranks on the charts. maybe japan is tired of her name maybe she needs to reinvent herself break off hamasaki ayumi and become AYU THE DIVINE EMPRESS, 9th WORLD WONDER lol j/k hmm i'm just rambling and i don't think i make sense. anywho who cares for sales as long as ayu continues to make music.maybe ayu will like do something even bigger next. hmmm... talking about "korean wave" in japan mostly with stuff to do with drama, korean artist don't sell much in japan anywho.

The thing that i'm scared of right now is that the single will NOT end up on the top 3 at the end of the week. Mika is RIGHT behind her now. I would be really disappointed if Mika surpasses her.

I always liked her fast, upbeat songs than her slow ballet songs except the ones in LOVEppears :P

Anyway it's really subjective to personal views about the quality of her songs. I like her fast songs. That's what I'm gonna say.

To tell the truth, i am surprised that she didnt make a come-back.. because i doubt she will in the following days... Nakashima Mika and Yuna Ito is riding on the whole "Nana" craze... and Utada Hikaru new single is also coming out which gonna have a huge success since its the only single

Although "Heaven" is a great song, Avex didnt really do any promotion for it.. so far only one live performance and one magazine cover... In comparision with "Fairyland", Heaven got much less attention


As for the quality...Can we really blame Ayu? I mean the composer is not her, the lyric she wrote remain heartfelt...

I wonder if ayufan is gonna blast ayu's mailbox or website complaining
