Personally I believe alterna would have been a strong single on its own. Plus we always get extra pvs in albums, MY STORY had three. And personally I'd prefer less pvs and more quality than more and being rushed just to have two pvs in a single.

Also now that half of her album was recorded for Sweetbox I wouldn't be surprised if she put teens in her album too.

Anyhow it does go both ways - you get a preview of what you'll get in the album before however yeah in the end you'll be pretty tired of hearing the same songs for a year and thus you'd have less songs to hear in a full album. That's how I feel :P

Well, the case for teens is totally different than that of the GEO songs. Ayu pretty much '<3s' the music that Sweetbox puts out and wanted to work with the composer, so he gave her a 10 - 12 song demo that had songs that he was going to use for Jade, and Ayu chose the ones she thought sounded 'wow'. I bet that GEO released an early version of their album Bold and Delicious to Ayu, since they were going to use the songs anyway. GEO just gave permission to Ayu to use these songs as well, you know? For the TRF song, Ayu is friends with TRF and a bunch of different artists did covers of their songs for the new album. So I don't think teens will be on the next album because it is an actual cover rather than a song that GEO or some composer allowed her to do that was to be theirs as well.. you know? x.x

Not really a different story. I have already read the whole story of how Ayu has always enjoyed GEO and all but however Ayu enjoys doing covers even when the lyrics are changed so maybe she liked that song so much that she's going to include it in her album. You never know. Plus they've appeared in many events and a couple of vids with her so it pretty much shows that she does to a point respect them and probably enjoy their music. Of course this is not very probable but you never know. If it will be on the album though it will be the original mix.

And she has also done a cover in A BALLADS plus many other artists did, like Shimatani Hitomi so I don't see your point here. So yeah it is possible to have teens in the next album though it's probably not happening but there's always a possibility.

But A BALLADS was a 'BEST' album, thus really letting Ayu put anything on there O_O [people didn't seem to be happy with what was on there though..]

They'd really be effing Ayu up if they did decide to tell her 'you will put that song on the album.' Especially when its already on someone else's :\ lol

I do hope 2006 will bring better covers than 2005. THere weren't many good ones, and all of them were quite boring. The STEP you one was downright Horrible! Can't say I enjoyed her album covers either. The onlt really nice and creative cover was MY STORY Classical =P

We can only hope that the covers will be unique. Though I don't see the problem with covers she has been doing.

Yeah, they're all unique this year. Except Fairyland, the others have been a triumph visually and artistically.

Huh? How does a best compilation get you to put anything in it? I don't understand your reasoning. Covers are put into albums on a regular basis so I don't see why Ayu wouldn't do it.

Not sure, really. I guess it's because there's more 'freedom' when doing a BEST album in my opinion. Don't really know why a cover would ever make it to an album when it's in a different album already anyway.. :p

this is good news . it is a long time since ayu released so many singles from one album!

Actually you are restricted when you release a best album because you have to decide the best songs from your discography which doesn't really speak about freedom. And it's ironic since A BEST was one of her albums which symbolized the lack of freedom. Plus I'm sure your label wants to take part in the decision process so they get more cash in.

Amairo no Kami Otome has been covered a million times by a ton of artists and put into albums so yeah covers would make it into an album when it's in a different album already. So why not Ayu?

Lol yeah probably teens will not be in the album but remember that avex loves money and if they will think it will make money to add a TRF cover in the next album they will do it. Just look at the 12 single galore with the second best album for Kumi.

But they're not paying as much attention to Ayu..
