But at least she's featured on Slow Step! That song is wonderful, my favorite from Healing Leaf. She could also be singing the title track (or whatever the new song is) but I think she's still recovering from her cancer at the moment, so I don't really think that's gonna happen.

(And I agree, it's a shame Lia isn't with I've anymore, her I've songs are some of her best.)

On other news, Mami Kawada is going to have her ninth single titled 'No buts!'! Release date 3rd November, PV also coming up, b-side still untitled. Is this great or what? :lech

Also, KOTOKO's 16th single b-side is apparently named 雷鳴が鳴く頃, or Raimei ga Naku Koro in romaji. Anyone know what the title means? o_o

(Information once again retrieved from the awesome I've Sound Blog, great thanks to them for being fast with news!)

What is slow step?

I'm glad she still is she's on eof my favorite I've girls! I miss Lia though I don't think she came out with anything new cept with like one single me thinks.

Glad to here Mami is coming out with a new single!

Lol Kotoko. I don't speak Japanese well so I could not tell you. I'm excited for these new releases! Been waiting so long!

There's a new compilation album? Awesome. Now I'm super excited. Maybe I should get this instead of utada one. Well anyhow its still sad for no eiko songs since she's my fav but its all good.

Kacku 11th August 2010 08:51 PM

Aristocrat Drug: I would gladly give you a link to Slow Step if Youtube didn't hate me so much that it won't allow me to upload it. But if you want the song, just PM me or something, I'm always happy to share my I've Sound collection and spread the love!

StrawbariSnow: Glad to hear there's someone else than me who's I've favorite is Eiko! :3 (I remember the gorgeous Eiko set you had sometimes, it was lovely) I agree with you about the compilations thing - I'd rather get EXTRACT and a huge bunch of new songs (many of which are awesome) than Utada's Single Collection with 4 or 5 new songs. I think getting Utada's studio albums is more worthwile. :3

Aristocrat_Drug 11th August 2010 09:46 PM

Is it an album or a song? I have no idea what you're talking about @__@

Kacku 12th August 2010 01:46 PM

It's a song, sorry if I'm not being very clear. D:

Kacku 30th August 2010 02:55 PM

My apologies for double-posting, but I thought I'd post this little piece of news: EXTRACT's title track credits are revealed!

Title: EXTRACT ~The truth in me~
Vocal, Lyrics: Mami Kawada
Composition/Arrangement: Kazuya Takase

So, it will be sung by Mami! That's great. :) (Thanks for the info to I've Sound Blog, as always.)

Aristocrat_Drug 30th August 2010 04:33 PM

Cool now just gotta wait for it.

Kacku 29th September 2010 06:37 PM

EXTRACT is officially out. Gotta say, I didn't like the title track at all. :| Just a boring midtempo-whatever. Imagine Symphony ~Hoshitachi no Uta~, just with Mami singing it instead of KOTOKO. There you go, EXTRACT ~The truth in me~! I am disappoint. Well, luckily it won't be long until MELL's MIRAGE is out. ^^

Aristocrat_Drug 30th September 2010 12:03 AM

Upload it?

Kacku 30th September 2010 01:20 PM

http://nicosound.anyap.info/sound/nm12221649 You can listen to it here.

Aristocrat_Drug 30th September 2010 04:26 PM

Thank you, soon as you posted it though I found it elseware LOL. I'll upload it soon since it's in two cds. I am excited to hear this.

Kacku 10th October 2010 06:15 PM

I just noticed no one's posted these info tidbits, so I'll go ahead and post.

KOTOKO news: KOTOKO's 16th single Loop-the-Loop, out on 20th October (a week before MIRAGE!), has a... funny cover.

http://aibublog.files.wordpress.com/...0061.gif?w=500

KOTOKO the pirate captain? Oh noes! Lol.

Mami Kawada news: Mami's 9th single No buts!'s cover and b-side are finally revealed. The cover and complete tracklist:

http://www.geneonuniversal.jp/rondor...jpg?1286550469

1. No buts!
2. SATANIC
3. No buts! (instrumental)
4. SATANIC (instrumental)

So... Uh, the b-side is called SATANIC. Yeah, SATANIC. I have no idea what was going on in Mami's head when she came up with that title, lol. Such a weird-titled song has raised my expectations quite a lot. Can't wait to hear all this new stuff!

(Info stolen from I've Sound Blog, as always.)

The cover from Mami´s new single looks so weird. Urgh..
I want covers like "Masterpiece" ore "Prophecy". These are beautiful. ;_;

Agreed, I preferred those two. >_> Though I can't say I hate this one either, something about it is quite... intriguing. But it still loses to all her previous single covers. :/

Aristocrat_Drug 15th October 2010 01:36 AM

Finally got a chance to listen to most of Extract. I really liked the title track, it spoke to more than most of Mami's songs usually did. I liked most of Mami's songs that were placed on here, but I had some of them already since I had all of Mami's stuff before hand. Haven't listened to all of the KOTOKO songs yet but I have to say the Healing leaf song was amazing considering I didn't really like any of the songs they put on on previous releases.

Loop-the-loop
http://www.ahsforum.com/forum/showth...87#post2524387

Kacku 18th October 2010 06:32 PM

Thanks for posting that! :)

Loop-the-Loop was very... energetic, if nothing else. Didn't really stick with me yet, but it might do so after a few listens.

Raimei ga Naku Koro is okay. Nice to have a more peaceful track for a change, but it's not really the catchiest material either.

Overall, a mediocre single. hurr derp not really anything else to say.

... Well, there IS something else. I think it's time for the month's mini-poll: your favorite KOTOKO single tracks after Epsilon no Fune? Mine would be...

1.) Digital Smile
2.) BUCCANEER
3.) SCREW
4.) Raimei ga Naku Koro
5.) Loop-the-Loop
6.) Hekira no Ten e Sasoedo

dreamland2.0 18th October 2010 06:42 PM

BUCCANEER wins by 50 billion miles.
Haven't really cared about the other tracks :(

-high fives-
Yeah the other tracks weren't that great or memorable.

Kacku 18th October 2010 07:35 PM

But but but Digital Smile? D: Yeah, BUCCANEER is awesome, but I'm getting tired of it somehow.
