Well, it would be impossible to just be quiet about your thoughts right upon the release, even though everyone should actually leave the album a year or so to sink in.

I believe this 'whining' process helps the 'sinking in' process, a lot.

The whining process is indeed needed, since not everyone will love an album [heck, Memorial address' criticisms were very.. wow.. x.x "2003's singles were so weak!"~] at first..

But as time goes by, people will grow to love the older material. :)

The whining process is about as needed as the praising process. Both are about as annoying and enjoyable to read ... it all adds up to what I, in my little world, call entertainment, haha.

Usually, as proven by time, people end up loving it, or the people who hated it simply go away, as this is a place where mostly people who like the stuff she releases sticks around.

This is why I hate school. LOL

so we got a total of 8 new songs...hahah

I think before the "full album decision" thing..ayu had finished 3 songs
"new song, JEWEL,1 LOVE"..so she had to rush for let say 5 new songs and 2 Interludes.

and maybe now she still got only a few to go because she must have benn finishing some new songs before they announced the news rite...1 month is enough..it's not even a fuul 1 month because they haven't make the almun booklet or covers...which i guess this time...if no...are taken in studio instead of abroad....because we really hope for another ayu's new album style rite?

Not that I don't like rockis ayu..but most of ayu's album title track are rockish ones..

Actually, if I don't like a song at first listen I hardly ever come to like it a lot. I don't think I'll ever think that "hmmm... Maybe I should play Bold&Delicious..?" Un less I forget how it sounds like. Same goes for Born to Be... and actually also to a certain extent a song off MA, Greatful Days. However if I don't notice a song or just find it a bit bland the first time I listen to it, it may grow. =)

As for something sounding rushed, it's not a far fetched conclution when she gives such a message. And pressured art-work may come out as bad, but also really good. Sometimes the best ideas are the first ones. Weren't some of the stuff (including cover art etc) also last minute work? I turned out pretty nice IMO.

I think RAINBOW was a somewhat last minute work photographed in New York..

I don't see why it being 'last minute' would make it worse than it being 'a month before already prepared since a year' :P.

Seriously, don't we all push up that essay to the very last evening, and then sit all night, and get the highest grade regardless? Haha.

No, but honestly, that they make a lot of work during a few days doesn't mean it'll reduce the quality, because I think they spend an equal amount of hours working as if they'd do it earlier. Also, now they don't have time to procastrinate during the process, they have to stay focused on what they are doing in order to complete it.

Yes, meaning that it will be 3 new pv's

Wow they're still recording? I hope the release date doesn't get pushed back.

The main reason for pushing the album back would be that the oricon year has been extended by 3 weeks. That means the first 3 weeks of sales would be during 2006, and the rest during 2007. The CD wouldn't look like anything special on the charts like that.

The most likely thing to be the official excuse for such a delay would probably be that they need more time to work on the songs.
