My thoughts on the previews:

01. Introduction For Kingdom / Sounds pretty nice. I like this intro.
03. Amai Wana / Sounds like any of her other "Indian" vibe song... :rolleyes
04. Himitsu / Ew, a ballad.
07. Under / Doesn't sound too good so far. I think Namie would have rocked this though.
09. Koi no Mahou / Th cute song of the album. Sounds okay.
11. Anata ga Shite Kureta Koto / Not really catchy.
12. Wonderland / Cute song #2. Not catchy either.
14. MORE / Ballad. Boring. When people said it was jazzy, I thought "OMG, like "24"... please!" but it doesn't sound good to me.
15. Black Cherry / Another annoying "Indian" vibe song.

Conclusion, she has yet failed to make a decent album. None of the songs are catchy. None of the songs grabbed my attention. The only song I quite like is the first one... And it's not even a full song. Oh my... It's gonna be another "BC"... The kind of album I'll listen once, and never listen again.

And also, she should stop making songs with an Indian feel to it. They always sound bad.

Remember it's just the previews

OMG
i loves everything

i was watchin my second session tour and cryin XD

I´ll buy this CD...... i loves every single track so far.

Wow, previews already??

Introduction For Kingdom - Meh...she's had better intros.
Amai Wana - One of the better previews. Like it. I have high hopes for this PV.
Himitsu - I like it. Reminds me of Dear Family.
Under - It's ok. It's probably better in full.
Koi no Mahou - It's ok. Needs to grow on me.
Anata ga Shite Kureta Koto - Alright, I guess.
Wonderland - It could be my favorite cute song since Koi no Tsubomi.
MORE - I'm on the fence with this. Initially hearing the song, it sounds like a hot mess but after hearing it more, it's not TOO bad. I think I would like it more on another artist, like Mika.
Black Cherry - It's alright.

It sounds pretty good, so far. I wanna hear the full songs though.

I can't hear the previews. I hate my college Wi-Fi. Can anyone holler if the previews make a youtube appearance. Danke!

ComatoseBunnySnatcher 7th December 2007 10:38 PM

I like BOUNCE!

MsMiyabi 7th December 2007 10:41 PM

^I wish it was a album track instead of anytime

review by NIPPON:

Intro for KINGDOM: hm… not my style of music, but it sounds relaxing.
Maybe this is the style of the album tracks?
LAST ANGEL: no thanks XD
Amai Wana: sounds kinda cool. The “don’t touch me” made me LOL
Himitsu: Secret? XD Oh… r&b style. Ehhh.
Ai no Uta: I heart it.
Anytime: NTY.
Under: under where? XD Urban style… not my style, but nice. NEXT SONG!
BUT: I like dancin’ to this! Fav single of the album
Koi no Mahou: for some reason I thought of palm trees… It’s okay =)
Aisho: ballad… dramatic one. Nice one.
Anata Ga Shite Kureta Koto: Nah.
Wonderland: sounds like a fun pop song!
FREAKY: ewww r&b. well, not ewww exactly but… more like a meh.
MORE: I want you more! Everything more! WTF LOL!
Black Cherry: never had heard it before… The strings sounded like beautiful liar!
All I understood was “tell me how you like it”…
Works for me!

BOUNCE instead of FREAKY, nee?

whoa, I'm overall REALLY liking the previews. I was really surprised how good they are, judging from the mild reaction from several people here.

01. Introduction For Kingdom intros aren't a big deal to me, it sounds ok tho. very classic ballad/lounge feel
03. Amai Wana I'm very into these arabic RnB-tracks, it's nice to a have a new song to continue the tradition of Candy & Shake It. hopefully with a hot PV with a sexy dance routine to match the song :P
04. Himitsu RnB-esque ballad, very Namie-ish. I really like the preview, it sounds sweet & upbeat.
07. Under finally a hot RnB track with a great beat. hopefully the PV will have a dance routine.
09. Koi no Mahou cute & catchy upbeat pop track , I'm really liking this preview too.
11. Anata ga Shite Kureta Koto mid-tempo track, the backround music seems interesting but it's hard to tell much about it from the preview. I'm feeling positive about this track too.
12. Wonderland cute & energetic pop-song. maybe not as good as track 09, but still I'm liking this preview too.
14. MORE Feels like dramatic balld by some lounge singer, sounds bit dated & definitely not the best type song for kuu to sing. the only preview that sounds bad to me.
15. Black Cherry another sexy RnB track, her english sounds more like real english this time. it's a hot track, I'm liking the music.

I wasn't expecting so many RnB-esque tracks, I think there's a chance afterall that the PVs won't suck. I think you can do a great PV with a limited budget if you focus on dancing & coregraphy

I'm pretty sure (unless the previews are super misleading lol) that this album will be awesome, too bad the album is sorta held back by the bad singles but I guess we'll see how the album turns out when it's out.

I'm trying to keep an open mind, but it's a bad sign when I can't distinguish different previews from each other. The Indian-flavored songs were nice to listen to, but I can't tell them apart, and that's a bad thing, because they seem more like fillers. Wonderland and MORE is the only song that really stuck out amongst the previews, but MORE stuck out in a negative way, because like Kamen, the oversinging makes me want to laugh.

And is it bad that I thought the introduction sounded better than all the other songs?

I'm still trying to keep an open mind, but currently the previews are not working out.

Kumi pulls off standing like that better than the Camel Toe!

Camel Toe?! XDDD

PrincessAyu 8th December 2007 12:53 AM

well all you great "music fans", you got your skanky song for 2008 oredi. Amai Wana.

and haha I laugh at those who're disappointed with MORE.
you expected a hot steamy sex song didn't ya

:mischief

Kikaru 8th December 2007 01:03 AM

Amai Wana and UNDER aren't bad songs, I can see them growing on me. WONDERLAND I like. Himitsu may turn out really good or really bad, it can be a wild card.

MORE just makes me laugh. I think had it been Mika, she would have pulled it off, but Kuu, not really.

Kaiouforever 8th December 2007 01:14 AM

I don't know if anyone noticed but the "Black Cherry" preview sounds just like it was taken from the introduction of Black Cherry except for the end...hard to tell what the "full song" is going to sound like...but I'm sure it'll rock!

All the tracks sound nice, although a few are definitely less likeable (as far as my tastes go) than others. However, it seems like she has a well-rounded album. =]

Larisa-chan 8th December 2007 01:20 AM

I really feel that Kumi pulls off her Indian/Arabic r&b songs the best... at least there's Amai Wana in this album. The only other song that I like is Under. The rest is forgettable to me. Amai Wana should have been the single she's releasing ::runs::

I hated the Black Cherry album at first, but guess who just bought it off YesAsia yesterday? >.< Perhaps I'll listen to this album over and over until it somehow magically grows on me like Black Cherry did ;D

Beyond the Sea 8th December 2007 01:49 AM

The album is really bland right now. I just want this era to pass and for something like Secret to come back.

se7entheaven 8th December 2007 01:57 AM

MORE : Gimme Gimme, Gimme Gimme (MOREEEEE)
overall i think the previews are nice
it's still a bad quality guys
but anytime sound good..i really love soothing songs by kuu, 'Sora' is definitely in my top list last time LOL...the rest are nice...amai wana is something like Heat. but i think she shouldnt end with Black cherry even thats like a bonus track

Jwiz 8th December 2007 02:08 AM

anytime sounds nice but it's not an outstanding song..i prefer bounce to anytime.

jiarongisme 8th December 2007 03:04 AM

Kuu sounds so horny in MORE. >_____>
