There are so many conflicts in this story, that make me could, immediately, say it is nothing but trash. In fact, trash is much more useful than this silly rumor. :grumpy
One big thing is the magazine claimed that they were lobbied by AVEX to prevent that photo from being revealed, right? If it is true (that they were lobbied), this magazine is the most foolish magazine, I’ve ever heard.
To my understanding, being lobbied (in this case) means they'd promised not only they won't reveal the photo but also the news. It means they won't talk about this anymore, as long as they haven't got the new photo taken or any other evidence. If they ignore and has the photo or the news revealed, even in as a doubtful type, like this. Though they will gain credit as the best scandal seeker or what ever, they will lose credit from everyone, right immediately. No one is going to deal with them any more, since they will reveal it to public, sooner or later, won’t they?

I don't think they did anything for real, probably just a random 'kiss'...

And if the magazine is so proud to release such trivia, as a manifest of independence, why didn't they attach the picture?...
