They should be more generous with the prizes. Like maybe the lucky few will win the puzzle, towel etc. and everyone else gets a consolation magnet or sticker... But i guess this gives the winners a bigger kick.

The reason why they have to be so "stingy" is probably because avex only gives each company / store one box to sell..

So like, there might be 200 prizes inside each box, and that's all that they get to send out.

^Precisely. At least a consolation sticker. If the japanese JIT system is worth all the hype it's getting in logistic textbooks, they should have prepared at least enough stickers for the 1st press releases. No. of prizes and consolation stickers sent to retailers = No. of copies ordered by the retailers.

But the fact that not everyone wins makes the prizes themselves much more special. If everyone got something, than what's the point of having a prize lottery? I mean, I agree that it's sad if you don't get anything, but that's part of the game~

It's a little like getting a tissue box when u try for a lucky draw (at least that's what they give u as consolation in singapore). Something small to make u feel better and try again next time =)
It won't stain the special-ness of getting say a mini-towel. I don't know, i never won anything big before in a draw...

Well, if you purchase the items in Japan, you at least have a chance of getting SOMETHING. I mean, they have the lottery thing right there and you choose from a box to get a letter, and you get your prize right there. [until they run out]

However, they have to compromise online, since any number of people from like 10 to hundreds of people can buy the release.. I think it was a wise decision to say exactly how many winners there could be.

As for whether or not they should do the prize lottery.. eh. It's much like how mu-mo has the extras for only mu-mo or TeamAyu members. There's always some sort of special giveaway that someone misses out on, and this really isn't any different. It adds an element of fun to buying a CD, you know? Like "Wow, I might actually get something!".. but some people sorta take that too far and think they're 99% sure to get something and they end up disappointing themselves.

Though the argument that "ENOUGH stickers should be included with the limited press" is sorta.. meh, since there are hundreds of thousands of first press copies made, it just wouldn't make sense.

If anything comes I'll take it gladly since with GUILTY I didn't have had anything it would be great to cash in something now.:innocent

I just hope I'm one of the 250 winners to get a present :D

Do they send us a e-mail telling us if we won or do we find out when the items arrived? Is that a stupid question? lol ^_^

Actually, YesAsia adds a new item to the order if you won something. And by then you can still cancel it. At least that's how it went with GUILTY. You know when they do this because usually 5 people or so on the forum pop up with screenshots of that they won something/something got added. XD

Yes, they added the new item to the order when they start shipping out orders. You can't cancel an order once the order has entered the shipping process.

Like, basically, they let you know in the invoice that you have something else in the package by updating it before sending it out. Why do you think you'd be able to cancel it?
