Do you mean the tissue thing? I thought she decided to cancel that because they hadn't had enough practice. And they got to do it at CDL 07-08 like she promised.... I don't really see that as being controlling rather than just looking out for them. What if the girls FELL? That's a pretty dangerous routine.

But if you mean something else, maybe I missed it. My vocal Japanese skills are almost non-existent so I don't know much outside of the chinese-english translation someone posted.

funny, haha. but maybe they hate ayu b/c they think she's so abnormally gorgeous that she's probably plastic... probably out of jealousy. also, maybe b/c of her voice that isn't appealing to some.

I bought the VCD version with fan ti chinese flashing across the screen so hope i'm not misreading anything. She didn't want chisa and midorin to perform the tissue thing because using my translation "if i were the audience, i would expect it to be done by professionals" so however you want to interpret that. My issue is not really with the tissue performance. More like how she wants to change dance routines last minute (for 1 Love), music sequences (glitter)... I don't know i'm just not so happy with it. I've been on the receiving end of pedantic stage directors before so i sort of know how the dancers may feel sometimes. But maybe they take it better than i would? I love her concerts but i wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of her critical eye.

Oh I understand what you mean, I guess you would have to have been in their shoes to get a better idea of what they're going through. Me having never been on a stage in my life, I don't see it as anymore than her having control over her own show. Sure she's not an experienced stage director or whatever, but if that's how she wants it, that's how it's done. I think the way someone translated it was, "If I were the audience, I would think they were professionals (because they practiced so hard)." It's possible I read it wrong. At any case, it seemed to me she wanted them to have more practice.

I think it's a nice balance about it though. I think they take it well cause she's not YELLING at them or telling them they're incompetent. I mean if I were to work for someone who made a lot of last minute changes or cancelled things a lot. I would want them to handle it the way Ayu does. She doesn't seem rude about it, I think she really wants to bring the best out of them in a way. That's how I look at it anyway. And it seems they're doing the tissue routine a lot since that time, ne? :)

Yeah at least she's nice about the changes she wants to make. As ayu says, so it shall be. Mine's the hk VCD so i think the chinese should be the same, just that on DVD it's on a sheet of paper so it's easier to refer to and do a translation. Actually i read the translation already (to get a more comprehensive feel of the MC section and documentary haha, cos my chinese is not so good which is quite shameful since i had chinese education through 11 grades). After reading it, i watched CDL07-08 again (not because i wanted to check though, just really liked the concert) and paused at that segment to properly read the chinese. I sort of disagree with the translation provided above. I get the impression it's more like "would the audience think this is done by professionals" rather than "this is done by professionals". But then again, i'm sure ayu's staff are not spineless. I'm sure they know how to stand up to her if her suggestions aren't so feasible :)

I don't think what you stated about Kuu is true, I think people are only hating on her because of her statement earlier on this year, which is understandable.

I don't know ANY chinese other than greetings and maybe a few words that match in Japanese so I have to rely on the translations of others xD; I'll try to re-watch that part to see if I can catch it in Japanese, but I believe you for the most part. At any rate, I don't think Ayu deserves to be on the list for that haha

PS = I think Wada Akiko is there because of her personality...she always get drunk and gives trouble to younger artists XD

About the fact "the more you are popular, the more you are hated"..well it can be true, and it cannot...I've never seen Namie in this list O.O Never! Maybe I missed some year's list but I really don't remember to have seen her name in those list XD

Many people dislike Seiko as a person..."because she is not a good person"..."she is a *****" (she has been more men than anyone else I know) and "Akina was going to die because of her!"

I don't hate Seiko, but I dislike her as a person for what she did...musically speaking I admire and love her songs so much!

Not surprised, she's getting 'old' after all. *sigh* It's hard to appreciate music when it comes to so many other factors that don't include the actual music so much.

edit: LMAO at the Kuu comments, what involvement does she have at all with Ayu? Honestly, comparing artists that are obviously different is just whack. Unless they're doing the exact SAME styles (meaning they sound so alike it's stupid ._. ) it's pointless.

^Yeah ayu doesn't deserve to be on that list. In fact it's a pretty crappy list. What's the point of ranking the singers you hate (and why are they all female). If you like the singer you can do tons for them like buying their stuff and spreading the love. If you hate them, there's nothing you can do to drag down the oricon numbers short of hacking in. And it's not like their fans will defect to your hate camp.
