2008 was probably the worst yr for ayu ironically.

beginning of 2008, she announced that she went deaf on the left ear.

last few days of 2008, she fell down and had to went for an operation..

^she could use a headset mic if she really can't hold a mic but i still still the see cdl going a head

Wow... 2007 and 2008 have been pretty rough for Ayu. This surgery sounds pretty serious, I just hope she follows the doctor's advice and takes care of herself for these next 3 weeks.

Ayu may cancel her performance for kouhaku =/, but she would most probably go ahead with PCDL as she is a person who doesn't give up easily and had put in ALOT of effort in the preparation of PCDL.
