lol. Yeah, way ahead. :) Of course there are exceptions, but generally speaking those exceptions were not too popular. One of the only non-idol super famous female singers of that time was Nokko, the singer from Rebecca. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gtSXW5SfX90)

But this seems, at least to me as someone who collects 80s idol videos, that this is meant to be very Seiko. I never noticed it before, but with the hair and makeup, their face shapes are actually even similar. :eyebrow
