We still have not received news about a potential upcoming CDL this year for Ayu...what's going to really happen?

And I think that Arashi might have a shot of going into the Kouhaku because I don't think there's any kind of Asia Tour they have right now - it might be their BIG chance here...

jackie do you really hate all ballads? i remember you commenting on it before.. or is it just ayu ballads? i have a feeling it will be a ballad though.. from a new winter single.

i hate them all from any artist unless the song is not too balladsty (not a word but)
songs like CAROLS, walking proud etc... i can stand but others i just skip

I am very excited about the artists mentioned this year. Especially Angela Aki, Pefrume, Minmi and a few others. I wish Jero was there....:( So he could represent! :P

Anyway, I can't think of a reason why she wouldn't attend Kouhaku. Even in 2007 when her friend committed suicide she still attended.

And please, NO Sunset, or any ballad from NEXT LEVEL. A new song, please? ^^

^ Speaking of which, there's only GREEN, Days, Curtain call and Sunset IF she follows the traditional Kouhaku "format" and has no new singles till then.

Rule would be cool but usually singers perform ballads in Kouhaku. The only exception(s) for Ayu were fairyland in 2005 and Mirrorcle World last year.

Still, I hope for a new song. :yes

Somehow, I never thought of GREEN as a ballad xD even though it kinda is and I guess it would fit the occasion somehow.
