I picked Kuu, although I haven't heard many live performances by Namie Amuro. Like what everyone else said, Kuu sounds very similar to her studio recordings, and her live ballads are even better than those recordings. I love Ayu to pieces, but her vocal register has changed over the years and she sounds very different from many of her recordings. Still love her.

3 amazing artists, but I'm only fan of Ayu. It's sad that she sounds the worst of them now. Her voice has become uneasy for me to listen to, especially in HBYA. So I chose Namie, just because I've always liked her voice, but Kuu's voice is very awesome as well.

Hmmm....I choose Ayu. I mean...PoM 2011 is a good example of what ayu can give. :)
But the others two have good voices. |
Ayu. The vocals on A BEST LIVE were strong and on point. I love how powerful her voice is. I was amazed by the performance of Voyage, even when I don't like the studio version. The performance was beautiful:heart

Kuu's voice is one of a kind and I love it so much

Kuu, she's really flawless live.

Koda Kumi, definitely!
Not the biggest expert on vocals or singing, but I feel Kuu has a lot more vocal variety than Ayu (and can stay on key most of the time, I think LOL) and puts forth more emotion into her lives compared to Namie. |
Kuu's voice is really good imo. Ayu's voice deteriorated a lil' bit, but at least her voice isn't as dead as Namie's voice (it's literally drowning in auto-tune)
