so it says hamasaki ayumi, the reservations for this topic's 8th full album 'secret' have started!
there are 2 forms: [CD],[CD+DVD]!
In the CD there are planned 14 tracks, and .... (ok i tried to translate this bit but i failed :( im sorry)
added to the tracks (the hit numbers and tv tie ups mentioned above) are planned to be numerous never before sold tunes.
also, in the dvd, there are 7 clips and 7 makings, 14 videos planned for the compilation.

It pretty much shows that the artists also have a say in how they want their stuff to be released.

Although, the reason there's no tracklist can ofcourse be that it isn't finished yet, but hey, that's just great in my eyes :).

Yes, but like Anthony mentioned that was the flash intro, the pre-order banner was the same colour from the start.

I would have trusted the pink mini flash intro more, unless they didn't change that one to gold-ish too.

Actually ELT sold 3 million of Time to destination because of Deatta koro no youni :p

Their sales went from 500-some thousand with Many Pieces, to 300-some thousand with commonplace and finally with like Crispy Park they got 202k. :B

The flash intro at first was pink and then it was changed later to a darker gold/brown hue. :o

i would not like pink colour for secret because it reminds me to omuch of my story.

Well so far we've had..

ASFXX - black / white / orange
LOVEppears - black&white / color cover
Duty - gold/brownish
I am - green / brown / blue / etc
RAINBOW - blue / rainbow
Memorial address - golden / brown / different colors
MY STORY - pink / multitude of colors inside
(miss)understood - red / etc. blurriness on the inside :D

Dark browish/gold sounds very promising, even though it's like a replicate of MA/MY STORY clasical.

I just hope it's not pink >_< I hope her NEXT album is green :D more naturale (imo, I am.. wasn't very).

I don't think colors really show much.. gold/brown is so elegant for an album, which is why she probably uses it.. :)

GOD! I love 1love so much. I dowloaded the 15 second commercial of it, coverted it to mp3 and now I listen to it over and over again on my mp3 just for those magical 15 secs

but the only thing i don't understand why aren't there so many remixes on her singles is they used to have?? since she cut off the remixes single sales went down.

I will definitely look at the cover and tracklist! Can't help myself! But I wanna try to not listen to the previews and watch the PVs before I get my hands on my copy of "Secret"! That's what I did for "Memorial Address". I didn't saw a single PVs and I only heard the songs that were singles already. It was quite a suprise when I played the album. Unlike "MY STORY" and "(m)u" because I downloaded all the previews and all the leaked full songs! XD

No, this time, I wanna be surprised! I'll probably read people's review about the songs, but I won't download the songs. :yes It's gonna be hard!

The only time I didn't listen any previews at all was last year --> (m)u.

It's just too hard to avoid covers and tracklists. For instant, you can't stop your fingers from typing www.avexnet.or.jp/ayu whenever there're new releases.. You just wanna surf around cdjapan/hmv.co.jp/yesasia/whatever to see if the preorder's doing good. Last but not the least... When everyone in AHS's so happy talking about the tracklist and the cover, how can you avoid the stuff for two or three weeks?

It's totally impossible to me.. The only thing I should do this year is not even looking at people's comments on the songs they've previewed..

If there's a thread like "no spoilers... people who have not seen the cover+tracklist+previews, pls come in".. Probly I will join too -- for two or three days.. I'm so sure that my curiosity will eventually take me to the threads like "Secret cover" "Secret tracklist"..
