I'm listening to Tears in the Sky for the first time and I like it. Sounds more 'upbeat' than her previous ballads.
Hearing everyone saying how great RELATION reminds me to listen to it. Kinda forgot about it. :innocent

^ Thanks for forcing me to listen to RELATION. How could I not know of Aoi Hana and Tsumi Ki? I'm more excited now for her album to come out.

Yeah...the single is alright. I think it's the most boring though. RELATION will always be the best :heart I know the album will be good. GARDEN was an amazing debut :luv2 She sure did surprise me with that album. Hopefully she'll surprise me again.

I hope there are a few upbeat and midtempo songs on the next album. Samii has a nice voice for ballads but she does great with songs like Yuki Boshi and Aoi Hana :luv2

I'm very curious about the album~ wondering what she'll do with the new tracks... I very excited for it, definitely! And I can't wait for the covers! Hopefully the CD+DVD cover will be better than the CD-only's, unlike what happened with garden x__x sucks to choose between cover and content.

BTW, I just got my CD+DVD copy of RELATION. Is anyone interested in the Garden Party Live Digest Part.2? There's an interview with Samii and snippets of the performances for the FLUTTER of WINGS, Hyaku Renka, Kono Mune ni Zutto, Soshite Boku ha Touhou ni Kureru and Tooku Hanaretemo (the snippet covers the performances from the beggining up till the end of the 1st chorus).
Cuz I don't think it's been uploaded yet...

I'm interested in seeing Soshite Boku wa Touhou ni Kureru and Hyaku Renka live. Doesn't matter how little. :)

that's the BEST song EVER from satomi, along with yukiboshi. i really love those songs, lol. :tipsy i'd love a performance of soshite...and hyaku renka, too. honestly, after her first 3 singles, i just don't love her music anymore. :no

I'm listening to Soshite as I type and I have to agree with you. Her debut album was good but like every album filled mostly with ballads, some were great and the others were boring. Really didn't help that Arigatou was boring and when I heard Yuumachi Kaze was a ballad, I pretty much didn't pay too much attention to Samii. After giving RELATION a go through and liking Tears my faith is being slowly rebuilt. :yes

did the "RELATION" single have a first press? I didn't buy it when it was first released, and I was going to order from CDJ a few minutes ago, and there's not one listed for CD+DVD, but I don't want to buy it and miss out on something if there was.

also, time for a new thread! who wants to do the honors this time? lol.
