haha I already said before , if you don't know/don't care/don't pay attention to the various cringy image(s) that DAIGO used to sport when he was DAIGO☆STARDUST , his solo material's actually really good

it's more or less almost the same as BREAKERZ except it's more 'colourful' & SHINPEI wasn't around to help out in DAIGO's solo stuff :P

AKIHIDE played some of the guitar pieces in DAIGO☆STARDUST's songs so both DAIGO & AKIHIDE have known each other for a very long time

single wise , SCAPEGOAT's the only single that AKIHIDE played the guitar piece for

But if there's anything valuable I learn from this , it's not to judge an artiste based on his/her image alone . That was what basically held me back from trying out DAIGO☆STARDUST's songs

but after I don't bother about that so much , I learnt to appericate DAIGO's solo works :)

I'm not ready yet to try JZEIL though :laugh

Well I appreciate his early works but I try to stay away from it as possible, because it really really does scare me, literally.

JZEIL is really scary from what I've seen before D: when you mentioned it and I googled it. Don't wanna see it again.

it's ok , I was like that also & I definitely had a rude surprising shock or 2 when I came across on how he used to look like , be it whether was he in JZEIL or when he was DAIGO☆STARDUST D:

Then again , I only dug up DAIGO's past/history much much later after I felt more settled in BREAKERZ as I virtually had no idea on what all 3 of them did prior to forming the group (see , told you things were SO sucky initally lol)

so it's normal no worries x)

if you know how DAIGO's idol David Bowie dressed/looks like , well that explains all the scary if not terrible cringy images DAIGO☆STARDUST had last time , that was to mimic David Bowie :dead2 @_@

hurrah nice to finally see you on here , Temmy xD & yes FIGHTERZ is an amazing album & even though it was released last Dec , it's still an album that I'm not sick of til now cos there's just so much music variety going on in FIGHTERZ

it's also the group's most experimental album to date which I adore :love

yes man , BAMBINO ~Bambino~ was the guys's 1st song where they went experimental as all this while I know them for rock songs they dished out

so when they released BAMBINO last year together with Everlasting Luv on DAIGO's 31st birthday , I was SHOCKED xD but in a good way cos they're wiling to experiment & the same thing goes for LOVE FIGHTER too

there're many music varieties going on in FIGHTERZ

prior to BREAKERZ , DAIGO was releasing solo material under the name DAIGO STARDUST . The various image(s) DAIGO STARDUST used to have , it's basically was mimic-ing 1 of his many idols ie. David Bowie

Also Stardust was the name of a karaoke company DAIGO used to work for too xD

Anyway for my case , the 1st song I ever heard of BREAKERZ was SUMMER PARTY , which's the 1st A-side of their debut single SUMMER PARTY / LAST EMOTION

before this , I had no idea how they sound like so SUMMER PARTY was really special to me even up to now :D as they're probably the only artiste I followed/been supporting them since their single debut & next month will be 2 years since this crazy journey began for me xD

Album wise , I highly recommend their latest 4th album FIGHTERZ . Like what I told AyUta , it's their most experimental album to date & they ventured out of their music Rock comfort zone

Even though the album was released last Dec , it's still an album that I'm not tired off as there're so many music varities going on in FIGHTERZ

Guitarist AKIHIDE played for some guitar pieces in some songs in DAIGO STARDUST's 2nd album HELLO CRAZY GENTLEMAN so both DAIGO & AKIHIDE already know each other for a very long time before BREAKERZ was formed 3 years ago

Also most importantly , DAIGO did everything hands on when he was a solo artiste , from writing to composing (except for his debut single MARIA which his idol Himuro Kyosuke composed) to even producing so nothing has changed whether he was solo then or whether he's in BREAKERZ now which's great :D

That goes for his personality too but of course image wise it's another thing altogether hehe

after I get into BREAKERZ a bit more I will try out DAIGO MOONSPARKLEDUST again to see if I like it. :yes

I really like SUMMER PARTY / LAST EMOTION! I am not really a rock person but I am slowly starting to like rock again, and this was a great way to start out. SUMMER PARTY is so fun :P

yeah SUMMER PARTY's awesome . It might be close to 2 years old but it's a song that I'm not bored of til now

It's the song that kick started my BREAKERZ journey so of course I have to say good things about it no matter what xD

in fact , an acoustic version of SUMMER PARTY will be included as a B-side in Gekijou / hEaVeN which will be released next month on the same day as ayumi's MOON / blossom

I never expect that they're going to make an acoustic of it & it's 1 of the many songs they never fail to perform live in their concerts :)

In fact the song has a somewhat sad story behind it .

When asked about the story behind SUMMER PARTY , DAIGO shares that he once courted this girl who had to study as an exchange student in London. The girl apparently told DAIGO that it would be nice if he came (perhaps not really meaning it). DAIGO took it seriously and went there.

While on the plane , he was so excited that the lyrics, “Afuredashisouna kono MY HEART” came to mind (you can hear it in the 1st & last chorus of the song xD) . Upon arriving, however, the girl had this “He seriously came,” expression on her face.

DAIGO stayed in London for a week, and eventually said the words, “Please go out with me,” but was rejected & he dubbed that experience 'miserable London' X_X

I know about this story because he mentioned this before on variety shows that he went on & it's soooooo terrible .

I don't know why he's always getting rejected by girls & most if not all of his ex girlfriends are the ones that dump him ;__;

This's not unofficially stated but I assume LAST EMOTION is the after effects of this experience since he said after this experience , he arrived back at Tokyo & began to write lyrics/lines such as 'despair attacks me' :laugh
