yay! :yatta i was wondering if they'd do something because when AnS was on, they had those experiment specials at the end of the year, so i hope aiba can do experiments again on shiyagare. i'd love that! :laugh regardless, i can't wait for this SP! it's funny how new years is right on a saturday! :P perfect for shiyagare.

yeah DAIGO's friends with Watanabe xD & even though Watanabe's only a camerman in AnS , seems to me he's also appearing in other variety shows out there too

He even has a catch phrase somemore , he always like to end most sentences with the words World Standard :laugh

maybe the next time he's on AnS , see if you're able to catch hold of it at the end of what Watanabe says

TOKIO & Arashi to hijack the TV for New Year’s Eve

It’s been reported that two variety shows featuring JE groups will be broadcasted in a “relay style” for New Year’s Day. Running for five and a half hours, the two shows have been identified as “THE Ultraman DASH Kiseki no 3-pun kan wo Mokugeki seyo” and “Arashi ni Shiyagare New Year’s Day 2.5 hours special“.

For the first, it will be hosted by the members of TOKIO, who will introduce experts on difficult subjects or interests; the group members report on the experts completing unique tasks, such as getting fully-dressed while sky diving, or breaking an egg while bungee jumping. TOKIO’s special will air at 6:00 p.m to 8:54 p.m on December 31st.

Right after TOKIO’s show ends, Arashi’s “Arashi ni Shiyagare New year’s day 2.5 hours special” will air. The show is a special edition of their variety show “Arashi ni Shiyagare“. On this program, the group will welcome two sets of secret guests to the show – interestingly enough, the Arashi member will not be informed of who these special guests will be. “Arashi ni Shiyagare New Year’s Day 2.5 hour special” will air from 9:00 PM to 11:24 PM.

Although their concepts are completely different, in the beginning of each show, there will be a talk portion in which both TOKIO and Arashi members come out together.

i know this is random, but i was just thinking: arashi are hosting the full kouhaku show, right? so if they were to host or even participate in the JE countdown, how could they do it if their the hosts of kouhaku? i'm sure they'll be at the countdown anyway, lol, but i just wondered this. :P

er that's the thing , I'm quite sure they will work out something with regards to the whole Kohauku x Johnny's Countdown issue

at most worst scenerio's that they don't go for the Johnny's Countdown & be like SMAP who already skipped it for quite sometime

then again I'm not sure , they definitely will work something out on this

Ohno in New York ?!

It has been reported that the leader of the wildly popular group Arashi, Satoshi Ohno, has been spotted in New York! He is reportedly in the Big Apple celebrating his 30th birthday with pop artist Yoshitomo Nara.

Ohno, a man of many talents and interests, sat down with Nara as part of a TV project last year to discuss art. Nara is currently holding an exhibit in New York’s Asia Society Museum, titled “Nobody’s Fool”, which is where Ohno might have visited on his trip.

Yoshitomo’s official Twitter account had a series of tweets on November 28th that confirmed Ohno’s presence in New York, also mentioning his visit to the exhibit and his birthday as well.

i just read from tokyograph's twitter that GANTZ will be airing in theaters in the US before japan! :yatta 300 theaters are gonna air the movie. i wonder if my local theater is included, lol. i'm no fan of the type of movie GANTZ is, but i'd go see it JUST for nino! :heart :laugh i'm surprised we're getting the movie before japan, though. :P
