Kana now has a "typical Kana song". That's what the new song sounds like, but its such bad quality, that I can't really pass true judgement.

As long as she keeps her album tracks and b-sides interesting, I can accept Kana putting out the same single over and over again. And you can't really blame her for that, either, since it's Japan and they love formulas and consistency. Once an artist finds a hit sound, they'll stick with it for years on end. :P

I would rather prefer her to be successful and take more risks with b-sides and album tracks and actually surprise us, than her taking risks with a-sides, flopping hard, and being dropped.
That said, SAKURA, I Love You? wasn't a classic Kana song IMO. Lyrics wise, musically wise and fashion wise.

My comment is based on my personal likings towards music.

True, she does take risks with her b-sides. And I agree about the formula. I guess she's just found the sound that makes the formula work. I like it and all, but when all you know of the single is the a-side and it sounds similar to past works, as some one who likes variety, its slightly underwhelming. I shouldn't judge, though.

That said, I loved Sakura, I Love You? I'm kinda over the boyfriend songs, but everything else about it was wonderful.
