flumpool to release their first PV collection

flumpool to compose a song for Indonesian TV Show

next month will be flumpool's 5th time in coming back to Singapore to perform

much as I want to go , I don't think I will as I've already seen them performed 3 times & this time round , the tickets are not cheap

I need to save for a-nation Singapore haha

flumpool's Yamamura Ryuta & Sakai Kazuki, Kameda Seiji, and more form a unit

The idea of this new unit began when flumpool's Yamamura and Sakai, who celebrated the 5th anniversary of their debut, sought after new inspirations. The two suggested they form a unit to Kameda, who agreed willingly. In addition, Yamamura and Sakai have previously appeared on Kameda's radio program and held a session live together. This is said to be another reason why they decided to form the unit.

The unit name comes from the American rock band The Turtles. Just like The Turtles' representative song "Happy Together", the new unit hopes to "walk together with the listeners through music".

THE TURTLES JAPAN will perform for the very first time at 'MBS Oto Matsuri 2014' which will be held from October 10 to the 12 at Osaka-jo Hall. They are expected to perform some of their original songs during this live.

Japan's flumpool wants to go global like Mayday

'We really respect (Taiwan band) Mayday and want to be like them. We want to become a band that can attract people coming from different countries,' said vocalist Ryuta Yamamura of flumpool's plans for the future.

He added that the band's music has undergone a lot of changes over the past five years, and will continue to evolve in the years to come.

When asked about the band's favourite Singaporean delicacy, Yamamura said they loved Chilli Crab, especially the fried buns that come with it.

The band, which is made up of Yamamura, Kazuki Sakai (guitar), Genki Amakawa (bass) and Seiji Ogura (drums), autographed posters for their fans and even gave a surprise performance of their hit song Hana Ni Nare at the media conference.

The pop-rock quartet's Saturday gig will be their first ever major concert in Singapore though they had performed here a few times before.
