16 minutes onward is basically the whole thing with JJ. Ayu explaining when she got the song is so cute. And when she was like "Oh, okay. I need to be going down now..." -lowers into hole-. And "WHAT DID I SAY? WHAT DID I SAY?".

Delirium-Zer0 20th February 2015 08:34 PM

What DID she say? XD I don't speak chinese beyond basic greetings, soooo.... lol

jiarongisme 21st February 2015 04:55 AM

The Chinese phrases are

新年快乐: Happy New Year
恭喜发财: Wishing you prosperity
生体健康: Good health
JJ很帅: JJ's very handsome

She's too adorable!!! Thanks for sharing ^^

that's so cute...she handle the mistake to joke...

Pieces_of_SEVEN 22nd February 2015 04:08 PM

Maybe if JJ sang in Japanese, I'd be more open to it (SEASONS doesn't count). I'm just already over this whole collaboration with JJ thing. Fingers crossed that I won't hear his voice on the album anywhere.

SpiceSquad! 22nd February 2015 04:19 PM

this is weird..

Ah, no wonder! It sure is! xD Thanks Aderianu!

Because he was mentioning he listened to Ayu's since 1st album, and it didn't sound to me like any song from the first album. lol!! :laugh

Delirium-Zer0 25th February 2015 11:58 PM

Aaahhh that means JJ became a fan the same way I did XD

jiarongisme 26th February 2015 08:17 AM

So I've translated JJ's interview with the press. Only the Ayu-related parts though.

MR stands for Media Reporter.
Spoiler:
MR: How do you feel about today's concert.
JJ: It's been very touching and happy. Actually the past 2 shows have been really memorable. Especially when I could perform with my friends on stage. Shin (from Shin) and Selena (from S.H.E) on the first day. And Ayumi Hamasaki today. It all feels very surreal. It has always been a fantasy of mine and now it has really come true. I'm really, really happy.

MR: Were you nervous today when performing with Ayumi Hamasaki?
JJ: Extremely nervous. When I saw her preparing below the stage and then rise up onto the stage, I got really excited and nervous. I really hoped for a good performance. Performing with Ayumi Hamasaki is a really rare opportunity. I believe her goddess like stature has made the experience really special for the fans.

MR: Was the song very difficult?
JJ: I've practiced for a pretty long time. Because Japanese isn't really easy to learn.
MR: Any techniques?
JJ: Japanese has some special pronunciations. I've been learning using romanji and there are sounds like 'tsu-' in 'tsuka'. It's really different from Mandarin and English so I had to practice a lot. 'tsu-' or 'dare', [on the R sound] where it comes in between the 'L' and 'R' sounds. These little details, I feel, are pretty important when it comes to the Japanese language.

MR: (couldn't really hear the question)
JJ: We've only known each other for a while. Only for about 3 to 4 months. We also talked about making a song together. At that point; knowing that I had a concert [in Taipei] in February and she's gonna release an album in April, I just imagined it would be awesome if she could come watch and be part of my concert.

MR: So do you think she's an idol of the past?
JJ: -laughs- Not really of the past. I feel that she's always been a top-notched artist.
MR: So are you saying she's been around since young?
JJ: Since young... Well I've always been supporting her since her first album. -hums TO BE- (NOT from the first album :laugh)

MR: So how does it feel to sing alongside your idol?
JJ: I find it really unbelievable.
MR: Is she like how you had imagined her to be?
JJ: She's even more sincere that I imagined her to be! We've always seen her shine on stage like a goddess, like a queen. But in reality she's a really nice person. An adorable goddess. She's very personable and I'm very happy to have known her through our common friend (Alvin Goh) and also have her as a personal friend.

MR: Are you excited to film a music video with her?
JJ: I'm extremely excited. She invited me to film it with her in Tokyo and it's gonna start after the Lunar New Year. I'm also very nervous. The Japanese people are always very meticulous with their works. I should brush up on my Japanese and learn some customary mannerisms. I hope to do my best in Japan.

MR: What's your best takeaway from this concert?
JJ: It has got to be performing with the guest artists because it's a very special moment which I would not forget.

AyuGAME 26th February 2015 10:41 AM

ah...thank you so much for the translation

tenshi no hane 26th February 2015 10:58 AM

Thanks for the translation!

He seems like a nice person. I'm impressed he made such an effort learning how to pronounce Japanese just for one song.

mizuki-7 26th February 2015 08:14 PM

XD he is a real fanboy !! I'm always glad when I hear other people saying how Ayu is a nice person ^^
But I don't like the questions of the Journalist why ask him if Ayu is a thing of the past ?? It was the same last year when she came to Singapore ... they would never ask this for other singers ! it annoys me a bit :/

i feel you. I read that question over cause i couldn't believe they asked that. That question was hurtful and inappropriate, to ayu and to her fans. a big no no :no
