It's sort of weird though how Ayu can dress so well for her private life and such with fits and all that but then sometimes with stage costumes they can often look too tight or are cut oddly for her upper body.

I personally think the cloth were a bad choice - not the vibe but the fitting. It made her look bigger than she is, it was weirdly cut in the crotch area and tbqh her whole body-language did not speak "confident in this" to me.

Her face looks bloated. I believe the outfit fitted well and she got bloated for whatever reasonduring the time of the recording, making the outfit tighter than it supposed to be.

^ lol. I know. And I really don't think that would make a difference. I mean, she has had this "full" look to her at her last several TV lives. Much more likely to be either fillers or medication.

I'm listening with a high-end pair of headphones, so maybe that's the difference, but she doesn't sound at all like the recorded track imo.

She looked like that during the LINE stream before the first PoM shows, but then she looked herself during the shows. I guess it could be the combo of meds, tight dress and lightning..i think she’d look less bloated if the hair style was different.

How does she sound to you? That's so interesting, to me there's barely any difference and I don't remember when was the last time she sounded so good!

The performance was good. Not awesome for me 'cause I'm really not into summer songs, but I'm so glad that she is back to TV! Hope that she sings something to promote TROUBLE next month.

On which part of her body does it fit well? I have seen enough season of Project Runway to disagree. The whole jeans outfit is a like/dislike thing. Either you can agree with it or not. I personally don't like it that much, but mostly because it just has no good fit. It is to wide on the upper body, to tight around the hips and a tad bit to short in the front. Why can we see her underpants? There is no reason for it to be that short (and I'm not saying that seeing her underwear per se is a bad thing, just that it does not make sense in cutting).

I wouldn't say she sounded like the studio recording, but I think she sounded perfect. Her voice itself has changed and became deeper than it was when she recorded the song, which is kinda natural and not a bad thing

I think Andrenekoi meant that it fitted her before the show when she decided on the outfit and discussed it with the FNS staff, but then she suddenly woke up bloated on the day of the performance and wasn't allowed to change it anymore

I don't like the outfit either, IMO 2000-2003 Ayu as tacky as fuck. But in this case it only seemed like she suddenly got bloated and either insisted on the outfit or didn't have an stage outfit that fitted her to wear instead.

I don't think she sounded bad, just not the same. Her vocals just in general aren't as strong and her tone is different, less clear, lower key, etc. I think people would hear the difference if they watched a live of Blue Bird or Greatful Days at the time they came out immediately followed by this one.

It does come across that way. I for one though actually love that outfit and it fit her perfectly in 02/03. I imagine this was altered to fit her body in 2018, but I don't know. Something went wrong. This has been happening A LOT though. Makes me wonder if she needs to can this seamstress or something.
