Was it just mine or the resolution was kinda bad for the 24th anniversary (bluray), I saw a lot of noise/grain almost the whole show? And the special effects gave me headaches.

it's not 1080P at all
fake Blu-ray

Actually, they applied a digital grain effect to emulate the film texture that made the images kinda blurry, specially the darker ones. It's not fake 1080p, but the post-production seemed odd.

Who will add noise to the videos
Smaller CMOS
Especially on TV it’s the worst quality of ayu’s Blu-ray

It's pretty common on cinema or even in music videos. They want to emulate the film texture to feel more "cinematic". Photographers say the actual film footages are better than digital capture in some aspects, but adding the grain digitally is just for aesthetic purposes (the equivalent of putting some vinyl noise in digital music recordings). The quality is obviously subpar.

The quality means everything u can check most 4K concerts and MVs
This concert her close face scenes are NOT CLEAR
Some of ayu’s blu-rays are not even 1080p
watch this BD on 4K TV or higher resolution screen is just like ARENA TOUR 2005
I think the only reason is that
The original video files are not in good quality.
Why avex use 21:9 or 24:9 and then add 2 colorful bars to make a 16:9 video 🙄️

Well, if you play 1080p files in a 4K or 8K TV, it will be upscaled and some artifacts will be more noticeable. Quality will not be as great as a 4K or 8K native video. If they added these fake grain effects during edition, the quality will be compromised during this process. But I don't think it means the blu-rays aren't "true HD".

There are some things that downgrade quality, even in true 1080p videos, just like the digital inserting of grain, very intense red lights (I think they resolved that in x265, but it was a big problem in x264 encoded videos, which is the codec used on HD Blu-Rays) and those ribbons / laminated papers they throw in the end of some concerts.

And u can see her official youtube channel
These years her BD RELEASES Promo Clips
Only pia arena comes with 720p
Apparently the quality is not BD1080 standard
Others are all 1080
I watched more than 70+ BD4K
This one is the worst quality of her BD concerts ever

Does this release come with a photobook? If so, will anyone who bought it make it available?
