CeS told me how she and her Colombian friend (in that one picture) were able to choose the best masks out of the set. They were standing by the table of masks when the guy announced to the rest of them that they could start choosing which one to wear.

The whole auction with masks thing... isn't that unheard of. I remember watching Last Exile and there was an auction and people were wearing similar sorts of masks.

Hmm I think the masks are pretty theatrical. O_o They seem to be more of the type seen at Italian Carnivale and masquerade balls than at Mardi Gras. XDD

Thanks alot again! I am excited as it reminds me of Because Of You. I can't wait to hear the final version (although I have to wait until Dec. 25th cuz I am going to hold out until I recieve my copy) because I am sure it will sounds vastly different than the clip we heard in the CM!
