I love her. She's the best chinese female singer.

But honestly, I still don't consider alan a Chinese singer since it was her Japanese music that drew me to her. I see Jolin as the pinnacle of Cpop though.

This is ridiculous to think that somebody hates someone just because he/she doesn't go at his/her concert or have dinner with him/her or something o_O

And Jolin never bashed Ayu... It's some nonsense invented by tabloids or netizens, as always. Jolin never bashed anyone. That would be stupid of her to do that, and she's far from being stupid.

By the way, if Jolin did copy Ayu back in the days, it was not her fault. Back then she had no influence and was just doing what she was asked to do by her company and staff. That's why she kept changing companies, to get more freedom in her work.

I can see that this Jolin-Ayu hatred has been instilled successfully by netizens and media XD Most Ayu fans hate her for actually no logical reason.
I was going to say nothing as always but some things I've read here... Seriously lol

I hated her before because the articles about her copying Ayu :D
But I'm totally open-minded now. I love the song "Rewind".

Jolin said her and Ayu were very different and claimed she never copied Ayu. Maybe they just happened to have similar sense of style.
Jolin fans even accused Ayu of copying Jolin.

I think they did because they were pissed that Ayu fans were accusing Jolin, so they tried to get their "revenge".

And back then in 2003-2004 (Magic/Castle for Jolin), I don't deny that there were, let's just say some "similarities" (Magic booklet, one or two MVs).
At that time Jolin's company wanted to make her the Taiwanese Ayu I think. C-Pop also seemed to "copy" J-Pop visual-wise a little in early 2000s, I remember that S.H.E MV that looked like GAME or About you PV?

After that era, those "similarities" were gone. And don't even bring the Butterfly/NEXT LEVEL cover thing, it was really ridiculous XD
Musical-wise, both singers have no connection indeed.

Anyway, it's all in the past now.
It actually amazes me that some fans still hate Jolin because of things that didn't affect Ayu at all and happened ten years ago.

I thought Jolin attended Ayu's 2008 tour in Taipei? So why do people think she hates her?

I like her. I have a few songs on my computer by her, but I don't love her. She's not amazing, but I think she's more than just okay.
