Ayu posted a blog entry saying that a while before recording the song / recording a TV show, someone close to her passed away. It's one of the bunch that she posted in the last two weeks or so :x

Excited! But I wonder, will this be a ballad-y type song? Not that I mind so much: Ayumi typically has good sad songs and I could do with another one.

Basically, it's in the category of Ayu's heavier ballads, rather than the slower paced HEAVEN or CAROLS. :x

More good news! XD I was thinking about it on the car-ride here [school] and I was thinking how awesome it would be if the song just built up to a massive finale with Ayu just singing "Together When" and it cuts out--THAT'D give me chills. It already does, just thinking about it.

I am of course, however, sad to hear that it came about under such tragic circumstances.
