I dont think Koda Kumi looks that good in her kimonos..
But it depends who you ask.
Those that likes a sexualizing of kimono, then it's koda kumi.
Those that likes a classical, more elegant looks, it's ayumi.
But I think those young people like koda kumi kimono version more because it is sexy.
I dont like that one. ahahaha.

I think Shiina Ringo deserves to be #1. She wears kimono more often than Ayumi, so it makes more sense for her to win. Plus she looks so good in them, she really looks 'traditional Japanese'.

Nakashima Mika looks amazing in kimono too, partly because they hide how extremely skinny she is. I prefer when she looks less like she's anorexic..

I don't think Kumi should be in this list though, I think she wears a kimono as though she has no idea of the meaning of the garment.

I don't understand why people want Ayu to be number one anyway... When I think of her, kimono is last thing I think of. And when I do think of her in a kimono, I think of Part of me :P Other than Part of me, a small picture in ViVi once, the recent GREEN performance and that magazine shoot, I don't see her in kimonos much... :shrug
