it's definitely not a cheap thing to start especially if you get the japan press of her releases... i'm pretty new to her and have almost everything from "you" onwards with a few gaps in between because i can't find the first press of some of her things.

once i get my hands on the first press of BEST ~first things~ i'll start buying the singles/albums before that.

i already pre-ordered Alive/Physical thing... the thing i like about CD Japan is that they actually don't charge my credit card until after my order is shipped. they put a hold for a couple of days on my account just to make sure there's money on it and then it disappears until a few days after it's shipped.

the thing i dislike most about Sunrise/Sunset covers is that it doesn't even really look like Ayu... Kuu looked more like herself with the clown makeup on TRICK cover than Ayu does like herself on Sunrise/Sunset.

while the 3 SPLASH covers weren't bad, they were really boring. she needs better backdrops than the single color or gradient. TRICK had a cool concept and i :heart MOON's covers so much.

guys the lyrics library is like, 40% done! we have all the lyrics from TRICK & Best Second Session. i'll be finishing secret tonight and then the rest of her older albums later.

we still need a lot of kingdom's, black cherry's translations and a few b-sides. :angel

oh, and does anyone have the correct romaji for lick me? i can only find the "just she are wrong" one :headache

you guys, this might seem shocking... but Kazuyoshi Shimomura photographed Kingdom, MOON, TABOO and TRICK, which i think have all really good covers/booklet pictures. i don't feel like checking her older releases to see if he photographed them.

I think he's a real hit & miss lol also.. his style seems to work better with Kuu than Ayu.. like the facial expressions etc

definitely hit and miss, but he's not standing there pulling their faces into different expressions. however, i don't think he has a good perception of what's sexy and what's not. he probably goes KIRE SUGOI SEKUSHI etc whenever they make their drooling/braindead/fish mouth/teeth bearing faces.
