I don't think she should totally drop the dancers, but I feel they are not needed for the rock parts (like LOVE 'n' HATE and identity from AT09) and the ballad parts like at AT09 and Future Classics. It doesn't look good unless it's songs like EnergizE that are real cute or the high energy ones like evolution. I do enjoy them at times like that.



See... I wish Ayu could be more like this. (I don't even like P!NK that much. haha) P!NK has dancers and backup singers and everything-- but she's separate from them and her presence over power's theirs. In Ayu's case, it's like she becomes one with them and there is one stage presence. That's what irks me. Sometimes Ayu even seems to get lost up there and if it wasn't for her voice, I'd be like "AYUUUU~~~?" I love performances like ASFXX from AT08 where you feel like WOW. THAT'S AYUMI HAMASAKI to performances like LOVE 'n' HATE from AT09 where it's like "Okayy~ I hear Ayu but there's so many people!"

I like Kuu's interactions with her dancers. It's like, she's not totally all with them, but they're still there and a good and important part of the show. It's just, not all about them, and always about her lol


This is random, but it's so crazy to hear the australian accent lol We don't get to hear it that often.

About the dancers.. I think Ayu thinks the more she uses them the more entertaining a show will be, and usually they do help make things more entertaining but sometimes they are just unnecessary. She doesn't need them to be entertaining, I think the best performances in this CDL were You were... and teddy bear because she was just by herself.

Didn't we have the same problem before, where the tv version's countdown vocals sounded awful and then when the dvd came out the vocals werent half as bad as before?

^ That happens with every CDL. Which only means that Avex edits the dvds to make them sound better.

i think is a so-so concert..maybe one of her worst CDL, the CDL07'08 is better than this one. and the CLD 08'09 one of my favorites

she needs a break and vocal coach so badly. get rid of the dancers and back-up vocalists. she has the ability to make her career even better, i don't know why she doesn't do it.

Before I give my review--what I hated about this CDL was the camera angles!! Compared to 05-06, 07-08, and 08-09--this looked horrible! In stage setting--I don't maybe I'm still wowed from AT09's stage--but still. It's what made this concert bad for me, not the costumes, the bad vocals, but are the TV lives worse than the DVD ver? Not in terms of vocals but camera shots.

^ Yes, the camera shots and angles are always completely different. Remember, it is a live broadcast so they don't really have the time or planning to edit everything perfectly.

Let's just wait a long long time for the DVD~ And everything will be all right, especially the camera angles. WTF were they shooting for the opening of 1 LOVE!!!!!!!!!!???????

yeah they usually choose the differents camera angles for the DVD version which mean a lot better than the tv version ^ ^

ok,i've watch some of the perf and i like teddy bear just like other says,it's just Ayu singing without her dancer and she put all her emotion into it.oh, i like moemntum and You were... too ^

but i'm quite sad =( when reading all the comments,maybe cos i love Ayu and want the best for her,i mean that is it true about she's smooking?? if it's true then, a bit dissappointed cos for me smooking is really not good.Ayu please do something so that you voice would be like before...asides that,i agree sometimes her dancers really annoying *sigh*

but, i like this CDL and enjoy watching it ^ ^ yeah nobody's perfect!

About camera angles, I know they'll be better on the DVD. haha I really really hope that on the DVD for the Because Of You performance, they will do a straight-from-above shot. I was waiting for that the whole time she was laying down and nada. haha

this. I don't remember the performance. 1 love maybe? i just remember that near the end, her and 2 of her female dancers had a chair and a poll. as soon as she starts dancing with them the camera does a far away "showing the entier audience" shot. And you only see like the last 2 seconds of her dancing. I'm like wtf! the entire time.

I've watched almost all...skipped some parts. I couldn't stand her vocals....either poor recording or technical problems...oh dear....her vocal is so low and just weak :(

^ The fact that it happens through the whole concert and not just a song or two makes me think its not really a technical problem.

^ Yeah, I mean the music is drowning her out because her vocals were weak, not because of a technical problem. :) If it was all technical I'm sure it would have been fixed after the first song, otherwise some people would be getting fired, haha. Notice when the music is soft, such as in Teddy Bear, her voice is heard very clearly but most other songs her voice is getting buried by the music.
