Do you like her more urban/rnb ballads like Himitsu?

To be perfectly honest, i like A LOT of types of music. Pop, Rock, R&B, Soul, Urban, Rock'n'Roll, Disco, Techno, Jazz, Classical etc

As for ur question, there's only a couple songs from like Kuu's first album that i don't care for. And they were never ones that got to be popular or overly well known anyways. I love Himitsu.

Nice to see that I'm not alone here to think that Kuu ballads are probably the best out there because of her emotional/powerful voice. :D I really love Kuu ballads because of this fact. <3

fuawas 17th September 2010 06:22 PM

^No, you're not! haha One of the best things of Kuu'd ballads is her voice :heart So powerful! It gives them a special feeling and make them more emotional haha
That's why I love Moon Crying so much, her voice in that song is just perfect!

:yes I especially love when her ballads have ~Piano~ versions. She does this a lot live and it really shows how strong her voice is. it shows true talent when you can sing alone with just a piano and still sound amazing.

What about Candle Light? That song is absolutely raw and beautiful.

I have to agree! I kinda wish she would do little a cappella bits on her tour like Ayu did back in '08; both women have amazing live voices and can carry their own without any music in my opinion (well Ayu does have some bad moments but still).

Candle Light is just pure amazement! It so simple yet so beautiful!

Over all I LOVE all of Kuu's ballads except for Moon Crying, For You, and 好きで、好きで、好きで。(please don't bash me)

:laugh no one is going to bash you.

Did you ever see Kingdom tour? She did a lot of acoustic for her ballads on that tour and it was really nice. The special invitation series was really good, imo. She did songs like Rain and Taisetsu na kimi e with acoustic guitar.

Sorry. i went to the polls, but i voted for Ayu. was hard choice though. Oh and speaking of the polls, how do u check up on the different polls they post up on a frequent basis? I guess what I mean, is how do u find them from the home page?

noisy_harmony 17th September 2010 06:42 PM

^^ Kingdom Tour version of Kiseki made me love that song. :heart

OMG there's too much Kuu's ballads which are my big favorites to type... There are times I prefer her ballad side a way more over her trademark ero-kakkoii and sexy image.

I dunno, someone posted this link here at the forum and I just posted it for my beloved Kuuters who don't go into the scary Ayu parts of the forums :laugh

The Kingdom Tour is her one tour I haven't seen.

milky_way 17th September 2010 07:11 PM

jiarongisme 17th September 2010 07:12 PM

Not sure if this was posted but apparently there's a first press bonus for the Suki de single!

Ballad section :heart

The best "hands" performance!
Kiseki ~acoustic ver.~ is really nice!

I hate Kiseki with a passion.

emi♡ 17th September 2010 08:54 PM

her tours are awesome~

I'm in the process of burning a bunch of kuu isos lol

I say, there is nothing like watching this stuff on a big screen.

Alive PV is totally gorgeous.

I think Alive/Physical Thing is actually one of my favorite singles...It's so simple. Just two good songs. Alive is more of a special song...not really like her other ballads.

krauterol 18th September 2010 01:32 AM

well.. for me alive is a very boring song, and physical thing is so repetitive, even though the beat is nice and she looks hot in the PV hahhaha

her best single of upbeat+ballad song is but/aisho. two masterpieces! probably two of her best songs in her entire career ^^

happiholic★ 18th September 2010 02:01 AM

Kuu's ballads tend to be either a hit or a miss for me. I'm not feeling Suki de x 3 at all, and I hate Moon Crying. I love love love, however, Gentle Words. I think its my favorite song by her. That song is so epic for me.

that's actually why I like them lol

Thats what I mean by a "special" song...because it's not one that you could listen to all the time like her other ballads...unless you really really like it. But for most people, I think, it's just like, a "novelty song", or like, a special occasion song.

Physical Thing, is just a pure dance song lol Let's you feel the beat and get into it~

But yeah, I mostly like how good she looks in the PV lol
