the strange part is that ayumi herself stated in an interview that she doesn't understand when her fans say that some of her new songs resemble her old songs... she said that she puts a lot of her present-self into the songs-lyrics, so it sounds strange for her when we say that this or that song resembles "old ayu"...

I feel like it only shares the quite/loud dynamic with Free & Easy. Tell All sounds a lot more disjointed, like it's two different songs, while in Free & Easy it flows like one song.

The two songs also have some similar lyrics: "The proof that you're living is inside of me" from F&E vs "I'll be the proof that you are living" from TA. I also think that, those two lines aside, the strength talked about in both songs is similar.

After listening to Tell All several (hundred?) times, I agree with people who have mentioned the mix being off in the louder parts. I think the song is amazing, but a better mix could move it into perfection.

I think HEAVEN sounds like two different songs. When the verse goes to the chorus I was like, whoa. I don't know it just sounds very different to me.

Whereas Tell All's chorus, while in contrast with the verse, flows rather nicely to me.

in this mix, there's no bass in the bridge section??

KillTime111 12th April 2013 11:09 PM

Oh my gosh....... I really like this song... Another song for the "rock" type of songs! YES!!!!

gogirlanime 13th April 2013 01:04 AM

WOW, perfection! It's like a mixture of progress and Mirrorcle World. First time in a long time that I got a little watery-eyed from the FIRST listen. That's the Ayu I know and love, loving the song right away

AYUCREA 13th April 2013 03:39 AM

Surprise! I am grad Tell All is not like Thank U or Red Line ~for TA~... I love lyrics and emotion LOVE!!!!!!

Larisa-chan 13th April 2013 02:17 PM

I mean... I don't know what to make of this song. It's certainly better than 90% of Love Again, but the arrangement is an absolute mess lol

microphone 14th April 2013 04:34 AM

I hope this is included on her next release. Need it in FLAC!

I absolutely adore the verses and especially the opening...it's so haunting and nostalgic sounding. As for the chorus section, the first one could've sounded slightly softer though..but I'm sure this will grow on me after a few more replay; it's a promising song with an epic music video in stall for us (microphone mv anyone?)

yamadashun 15th April 2013 03:59 AM

^if Tell All PV has the element like Microphone (gothic, church-ish, european, rock) i will be happy dying.

HEAVEN does sounds like two different song but the transition to the main chorus was very smooth and grandiose not like a rough roller coaster.

I'm with those who says the arrangements are messy. I love how fierce and rockish it sounds but the chorus arrangement is very messy and disjointed. The music didn't blend well and the bridge is very weird like it took a sudden detour somewhere along the route. The contrast of calm and loudness of the song kinda shakes me a little when I first hear it.

MW had a much better transition from verses to chorus, that's one thing that makes it better that Tell All. It builds the climax and the thrill while Tell All just smash it in your face.

MeyChan 15th April 2013 11:52 PM

I'm praying for it to have a PV *crossed fingers*

channy 16th April 2013 06:45 PM

The song is actually pretty dreamy and enjoyable, except of the outrageous refrain.

ayumisrael 16th April 2013 07:48 PM

Btw did anyone notice how she reaches to a really high tone at the end's "wow~~~"? It's really high!

Delicious n Bold 17th April 2013 09:05 PM

So who are the composers and arrangers?
