most probably we will see Sparkle
|
I like the fact that she changed the logo, that she did something different, I also like pop art style, but to me this logo (as a drawing) is simply ugly :p

^ How dare you! :devilish

I think it's just a case of bad timing with that Lady Gaga Jeff Koons artpop crap all over the place, especially with Lady Gaga insufferably going on and on about Warhol and now here we have a reference to his contemporary Lichtenstein. Should have gotten rid of the sunglasses, I think.
Or maybe I just really hate pop art, unless it's Kusama, Yokoo, or Thiebaud. |
^^^ her rock songs are like the best dude.
And yes MW, I've been waiting for chew. |
rollin' + Rule + ourselves + Real Me
Or even if she picks one of those songs I''ll be one happy fan :-) |
There's likely gonna be some kind of EDMrainbowsparkle section of the setlist if she's going to utilize Feel the love/Merry-go-round.

Get real. Ayu rock is all her own. Bitch is one badass mother-f**ker when she wants to be. And she owns that shit. She pulls it off unbelievably well, and I feel as if her true self shines when she performs and/or releases this heavy and intense style of music. To say she's "posing" with this style is unheard of. If anything, her "cutesy" act is the most "poser" and 'scripted'. I don't mind that act, and always look forward to those segments in her shows, but when I think of Ayu and her attitude, everything that has made her a star and who she is as a performer, it's definitely her performing those hard-hitting rock songs, not some crowd-chanting rendition of SURREAL, or what-have-you. When she performs rock, be it Memorial address, is this LOVE?, a heavy rendition of A Song For XX, or the epicness that is Microphone a la AT10, that is when I feel taken a back by her star power, and sincerely feel in my heart "Now, this is Ayu. This is why I love her." She demands presence, attention, and recognition during those moments, ever so effortlessly, and without flaw.
Ironically, I listened to Microphone today and I have to admit I am positively starved for her to return to that style. It was the last "epic" rock song she's released. Yeah she's released a few since then, and although they aren't bad, and some are actually pretty good, none have been on that same "polished" 'complete' and 'epic' level as the bangers that came before Microphone. |
^ I freaking love Microphone. AT2010 was just so amazing, and that Microphone performance was the most magical thing I've seen, and that lead me to be interested in this artist.

I want dirty industrial gritty sex pop from her. Sparkle, but add some hot english bits.
and on her singles, maybe include an english version of course to sell more. like the Nanana instrumental but without the bastard feature. |
i feel that ayu-rock is when ayu is completely in her element + it suits her voice too
|
Yes I want Microphone!! :D
|
I just hope she uses NEXT LEVEL album A LOT. I love that album to death and it seems to fit the logo atmosphere.
But rock Ayu would be amazing. Let's face it, you may think she's posing, but Ayu performing rock songs is just unbelievably moving. That hairshake alone from A Song for xx on this year tour still gives me chills just thinking about it. She owns rock. |

I've always loved her rock music. Those are usually my favorite songs of hers. It always brings out a good side in her lyrics and vocals, in my opinion. I don't think it's poser-ish at all when she does that kind of music. Now, if she started doing nu metal and other styles of metal, I may get a little confused. |
It does look interesting!
But Definitely not my favorite,Can't wait to see the concert theme! |

I love that ComatoseBunnySnatcher opened a can of worms with that ridiculous poser accusation. Lmao.
