I'm gonna keep using the tag as MADE IN JAPAN because the parentheses make it look tacky. I just don't accept it :no

Throw in your stan card and burn it :o

Kidding, I love how easy going members are and how welcoming many are too with this album release :yes:D:D:D

Exactly, I think the same! :dead2

I think the parenthesis are there on the stylized logo to give an idea of "inside". Putting ayu's symbol in it it's like saying she's also MADE IN JAPAN, if that makes any sense.

I don't know how to tag the album however, I'll stick to MADE IN JAPAN for now.

Apparently, I am happy that Winter Daily is not the album but only a PV.

Winter Dairy***************

I don't know why I always think it is called Winter Daily.

mellody 13th May 2016 05:39 AM

TA version might come with that song as a -yet another- bonus track though.

truehappiness 13th May 2016 05:47 AM

Not even that, I feel like it'll be tacked onto Many Classic Moments on all discs... or maybe as a "MADE IN JAPAN MIX" afterward.

aliceshields 13th May 2016 08:53 AM

I'm curious about the music composers for this album.

Do you mean Diary?:D I always have to think twice (or more) when I need to write this word down!

I haven't had a chance to react on the album, but since pretty much everything has been said I'll just go with I love it. The last 3 songs are a bit below the others (mind you, Summer Love would be high on my list if the chorus didn't sound so out of place), but overall the whole thing is great, both fresh and very Hamasaki-friendly!

truehappiness 13th May 2016 11:20 AM

I think the last 3 songs are made with Japanese fans in mind for sure.

Cause if so, official sales of some artists don't make sense... e.g. Kuu' s last two albums, which had FC versions, sold with normal editions according to Souncscan only about half of the offical sales. Where is fhe other half comig from, if not from FC and music card versions, which were sold through mu-mo (for music cards before they stopped counting)?

I'm pretty sure mu-mo doesn't count because it's owned by avex idk the exact reason but I have read that in quite a few places. bon voyage and walk of my life were both released before music cards stopped counting, so maybe from there. Soundscan has always been weird too IMO because sometimes the numbers on soundscan were higher than the ones on oricon. e.g. Perfume's star train single sold about 65'000 copies in the first week according to oricon but soundscan said it was over 80'000... so idk really the japanese counting system for records is a giant mess

maybe it counts sales which oricon leaves outside?

Ryusei 13th May 2016 12:30 PM

It does (or more like it did since it doesn't get published anymore) but idk which because they didn't count fanclub editions or music cards or one-coin editions..

Hm, yeah, but avex sold music cards only through mu-mo as well, not elsewhere, didn't they?
It is a bit of a mess.

I hope that doesn't happen. The album sounds really cohesive the way it is and Many Classic Moments actually fit nicely after Summer Love. I'm glad they added the PV for Winter diary on the DVD so we can finally have it physically though. The song is just unnecessary.

Me too! Every time I listen to it I imagine who composed each track :yes

aaaaah I mistook it sorry, Soundscan didn't count mu-mo and fanclub stuff but oricon does. Soundscan gave a nice insight about how many people order from the fanclub and stuff tho because you could look at the difference of sales.

Well the typo mistakes show that how much I hate the song...I don't even want to remember its name.

Oricon counts how many copies were sold to the final consumer. Soundscan, if I'm not wrong, counts how much copies were sold to stores.
