In something that's not surprising , J&A today announced that Okamoto will no longer be part of JUMP from this Sun onwards

However unlike other Johnnys who have left J&A for good over the years , Okamoto for now will stay on in the agency & will focus on acting in the near future

Why to promise coming back to the group in the first place then

^ Too bad this's something only Okamoto himself can answer

Another scenario is before he left temporarily to pursue his studies , he already thought of leaving the group prior but it's hard to say

Anyway to me this feels like what happened to KAT-TUN years ago except in this case , Okamoto didn't left the group twice :rolleyes

But I will not be surprised down the road he will eventually leave J&A altogether but for now we'll see

Trying to pull off an Ikuta Toma will not be easy cos all the while Johnnys are mainly known for singing/dancing . Ikuta is the only if not rare exception he's known for acting in drama , movies & stageplays
