I don't think Ayu needs to release another single right now. Or else, people will just be sick of Ayu. I'm thinking around Christmas time or early January. A Christmas single is good, she always does that every year I think. Ayu always releases something around the holidays. I think a rock ballad or power ballad would be awesome (like "ASFXX", "NEVER EVER" or "M" and even "Will"). Please, not another slow song. I think it would be awesome if the last single would be extremely good and sale 500,000 copies. A song that would be like the next "M" maybe?

i think it is going to be another xmas single like you guys predict but i hope she keeps releasing singles till next year so people can anticipate her album but this time she needs to do somthing different. Heaven was awesome but dont you guys want somthing new?

I'm not surprised that the two nana singles are doing extremely well. The manga is super huge in Japan but i feel bad for Hikki. I mean, BE MY LAST would have sold over 200,000 copies if Toshiba Inc had decided to add 3 more tracks to the single. What's the point of buying a one track single when you can buy it online or better, download it for free online?

All that buying the single of Be My Last would've gotten you was a leaflet and maybe a CD cover to use for something else.. ;O

It's probably a ploy to get people to buy her album instead. Think about it, people would be thinking 'why would I wanna buy 4 singles for when I could just buy the album?'. Otherwise...

Anyone noticed that singles sales are very low now? When is the new huge sinlges drop going to be? Has any of the "big" artists annouced something new, or is everyone waiting for christmas?

^ In December/November. Just wait until the release of the new Ken Hirai single :P It will be hyped up by the release of his best album. It's the biggest release I see with Mai Kuraki, Morning Musume, Hikaru Utada, ELT and aiko. And they don't sell that big (Ken and Hikaru do though). Most of these artists will release in November, except Hikki who releases Passion in December.

Yeah Ken Hirai's single will be huge. I'm sure of it. I saw the video and it was SOOO hilarious! Good for promoting his new album although it's not on the BEST album. But if you look at the amazon, hmv, and the other japanese online charts, you already see that Ken is dominating every chart with his new album, single, and DVD.

I would say Ken and Hikki may dominate November and December.

Hikki's Passion will dominate December, no more 1 track singles! I think there's 2 tracks on it..

lol, i think it's still cheaper on iTunes Japan. Unless it's the same price as Be My Last.
