I disagree completely.

It's not like people don't buy her albums at all. And it's not like it's all that matters. I listen to other artist that are even less popular than her. Hayami Kishimoto's sales must be really poor because she has never ever been on the Oricon chart (I think). Yet, she's still releasing stuff. I don't want hitomi to retire just because of that... She's the best.

I think that as long as her albums can get top 10 daily spots, she should keep going.

and IMO, people who didnt buy the album arent allowed to say anything on its chart position. If you wanted it to do better, you would've bought it XP

30 is young. Man. People talk about 30 like that age is when you get withered and gnarled and older than dirt.


Anyway.... I.... haven't given her much of my time yet. TRAVELER and huma-rhythm were my first two experiments Okay, although her voice bugs me. She does have some cool covers, though (she looks.... horrid on TRAVELER but it is colorful).


She needs to sink in too.

I don't like her well so far, none of her songs have screamed at me "PLAY ME MORE" (maybe because my mind drifts when listening to music, quite often?) but something about her is making me give her more chances. I do that for lots of people, actually.

Wow, her album flopped HARD.

But... ah well. Hitomi Shimatani doesn't sell well at all anymore, but she's still chugging. Maybe it's the Hitomi/hitomi name: It's like a curse.

You really should listen to LOVE CONCENT, I've never heard Traveler, but I haateeeee huma-rhythm! I love LOVE CONCENT! I think its her best album

I love "LOVE CONCENT" too ^^ go my way is fantastic. And i completely agree with explodingbird, 30 doesn't mean old.

I have just listning to LOVE CONCENT and my favosong on it is Cragy Mama and Japanese Girl..:)
