"Doll Domination" is no. 5 on Billboard this week, selling just 74,000 copies.

that's not very good. =x

As Perez said, 'Stale *****'. :D

Just thought I'd post in here really quick about their song, "When I Grow Up". I'm in beginning dance at school and our first test is to follow a dance our teacher showed us, and it's to their song "When I Grow Up." :D I liked the song. It's stuck in my head since we had to practice it every day. @.@ Our test is this Monday :( and I'm still kind of stuck. I swear though....it sounds like she is saying "I want big boobies" :roflmao What is she really saying?

That line has caused quite a lot of 'controversy' actually. Nicole denies saying boobies and says she sings groupies, but I don't know. It kinda sounds like a bit of both tbh! Haha, 'I wanna have boopies'. :P

They appeared on Ellen Degeneris the other day and Ellen asked them about the "I wanna have boobies" part.

The girls said it's "Rubies" LOL
And then Nicole said "Well... it can be anything you want, so yeah, it could be boobies"
Then Ellen added "Did you want boobies when you were little?"

LOL It was funny!

uwhh this is not good :(

how many copies PCD sold first weeK?

Negi92 5th October 2008 01:52 PM

It's good because as you know, PCD (group, not the album) release lots singles ! PCD (album) debuted withn 99.000 copies so i think DD can do exactly the same ^___^ ! Don't forget that's there's the world tour, and all singles they're going to release =D

Ah, I see o_o That's what my dance teacher told me. He said that they are saying 'groupies', and that he wouldn't be playing that in our class if she was saying 'boobies.'

the "Whatcha Think About That" video is out.

Re:★ 7th October 2008 10:59 PM

PCD sold around 100k and also charted at #5. So it isn't that much of a difference lol. PCD had strong singles though so it had a long chart life. Unfortunaly Doll Domination's songs aren't as good :(

bondingo 7th October 2008 11:48 PM

I really liked the video for Whatcha Think About That. They all looked great, especially Nicole of course. Doll Domination's growing on me too. I especially like the ballads, but there are some good uptempo tracks as well.

Celaphorce 8th October 2008 06:50 AM

Okay...the music video is okay, and I DETEST that mix of the song, it's absolutely horrid!, Album version is so much better!

The album DD overall itself is a solid 7/10, not too many tracks I fancy except for Takin' Over The World, When I Grow Up, Bottle Pop, Whatcha Think About That, Elevator, Halo, and Hush Hush, but it's a decently solid album, and deserves pretty good sales, it's kinda sad to see that this album is taking on sales that a not so successful album in japan would seeing as America is a lot bigger and such. Hopefully they'll do better.

drewbilation 11th October 2008 03:23 AM

"I Hate This Part" video is out now, too.

it's lovely.

No_Doubt 11th October 2008 04:01 AM

I was kind of iffy on the desert setting, considering a winter-themed video seemed like the more obvious and suitable choice considering the lyrics, but I LOVE the video. It's gorgeous. The "Whatcha Think About That" video is great as well, it's a nice return to their burlesque roots, and personally I much prefer the video version of the song to the original.

stickyrice 11th October 2008 05:05 AM

I really loved the video. The girls looked beautiful and I love the setting. Really nice!

lilchan 12th October 2008 08:39 AM

I LOVE "I HATE THIS PART"'S MV!<3
even though it mainly features Nicole...but shes gorgeous.
I loved the song , I was so exicted to find out they were going to make a mv for it.
I thoguht the album would do better
I liked a lot of songs, except bottlepop and in person..which just annoys me

sanzo2011 12th October 2008 09:39 AM

i think " i hate this part " 's good !!!! it's so simple but i love that ....... i 'll live in country if there has girls like this .........

heartplace83 16th October 2008 06:07 PM

okay maybe DD doesnt have as much standout tracks as PCD did. but i still think its a good album. PCD is more about fun, party, boys and just sex-ish. i found DD to be emotional, at least they give more meaning to the songs. i like many of those tracks, my favourites are i hate this part, whatcha think about that, elevator, happily never after.

i like it that u get to hear melody so much in Elevator. and she sound great. i hate bottle pop with a vengeance. its really annoying. if that ever comes out as a single imma hit snoop dogg in the eye.

bondingo 17th October 2008 10:55 PM

I finally like Doll Domination. There are a few cruddy tracks (i.e. Bottle Pop and Out of This Club), but I'm impressed by how well they do great ballads, then turn around and do these in-your-face R&B dance songs. It's pretty impressive. I was never a huge fan of any of PCD's singles (besides Buttons and I Don't Need a Man), so this album is pretty much shaping up to be better than that.
