It depends. There are certain things I like from both and some that I don't like.

I don't like bands full of people so this is something that I don't enjoy from KPop, it's quite hard to find good solo singers.
The thing I don't like about JPop is that is full of people with that high pitch voice which I can't stand. Korean is more like "american style" while some JPop singers like Ayumi have their own style. And as it was said before, Korean tend to have better vocals than japanese.

J-pop is way superior when it comes to ARTISTS. Korean idols, however, are much more talented than j-idols.

Both.

J-pop, there is my mega favorite artist : Ayu. Besides that, I really like J-pop lyrics, some of them are really meaningful, and the lyrics also have playing words which is really fun!

K-pop, I basically like the songs, dances, their stories, their concepts.... but the lyrics are almost love-themed... :( and even when I only like just a song from a group/singer, I could consider myself as their fan, but in J-pop I couldn't do that. (Dunno why too!) Their CDs are also affordable LOL

Previously I voted for "Both" but now I'm going with "K-pop" and Korean music in general. :yes
I barely listen to Japanese music now as it bores the hell out of me. The only Japanese artists that I care for now are Crystal Kay, and Namie Amuro.

I've always felt the Korean music scene as a whole is so much more raw and diverse imo, especially the K-indie scene. Just my two cents.

J-Pop

There's no real "vs" in there for me - I enjoy both equally and there's such a diversity of different artists and groups within each, so it's nearly impossible for me to pick one. I guess J-pop is what I listen to most, but I'd rather not have to choose!

JPop.
