I didn't see a year break, but I did see the solo recordings. But after seeing passions, I think all of them can be famous in their own rights (Sarah with acting, mind you), then reassemble to be Girls Aloud.

I'm glad GA doesn't have any new singles for this year, since the Saturdays and Sugababes are both coming out with stuff in October + November...next year will be a good time.

I don't care much for Cheryl's first solo single (though she looks good in the video). I still hope I'll enjoy the album.

I've been listening to old Girls Aloud stuff lately and it's really made me miss them. I can't wait for the break to be over.

Also, the tour DVD is out!

I hope my DVD comes soon. I'm excited for the all the bonuses!!

I want my DVD to arrive soon, too. I really just want the CD and booklet... hopefully this will kick off a resurgence in my GA obsession, I haven't been listening to them much lately.

I have to say, I'm a little disappointed with how the booklet turned out :(

Any opinions on Cheryl's recent marital struggles?

Personally, I hope she has the strength to let go of Ashley, move on, and find a better man.

I hope the Girls Aloud reunion and recording will help her out, there's no way she deserves what's happening now.

It's amazing how little respect Ashley has shown for her, cheating on her as cheaply and easily as he has done. I also hope she goes through with the divorce now, before they have kids, and finds herself a more reliable man.

In my country the news was in the papers as footballer Ashley Cole's divorce. I hear her songs have been doing well in Europe, so maybe Cheryl will eventually become the more famous one outside the UK.

I don't know what's going on with Nadine's solo album plans. There's no definite date yet. That makes it difficult to guess when the Girls Aloud reunion will happen.

according to someone who works at their label, a new Girls Aloud single will definitely be coming out this year. also, Nadine's manager posted on Twitter that her single would be out sometime in Summer and that the album was coming soon. she's still writing/recording, though, and had a lunch meeting with William Orbit last week. her list of collaborators is pretty impressive so far!

I have to say I'm much more excited for Nadine's solo material than a new Girls Aloud release. =o

-Cheryl has finally filed for divorce a couple weeks ago, and has now branded all her stuff with just her first name. The X Factor 2010 just started up again as well with Cheryl aiming to make a hat trick (Alexandra Burke won in 2008 and Joe McElderry in 2009). In other news, Geri Halliwell and Pixie Lott have replaced pregnant Dannii so far in auditions, who should be back by the live shows.

-Nadine has recently been backing a relatively new line of underwear for those who need colostomy bags ever since her hairstylist friend needed to have one after a major operation. I haven't heard anything concrete about her album yet, but rumor has it "she's devastated she can't break America".

I haven't heard too much about the other girls either besides Nicola and her fake-tan restriction advocating.

BUT

Kimberley has said she believes the girls will get back together in the studio "next year [perhaps]", according to MTV UK. We shall see!
