Lower than what I expected, but good nonetheless. Hope it won't drop hard~

Looking back at her recent single sales...it seems like her second day's sales is a little more than 50% drop (excluding MW) from the first day's...so by looking at that, sunrise/sunset's second day should be around 17k-18k...my 15k guess is more like a worst case thing...since you never know...but even if she does get 15k, that's 51k+ already in 2 days. I'm satisfied with that already. Of course more would be a great bonus. :)

Yeah, I was basing that on charting wise not sales so true, its not the actually sales, but its always at least an indicator you know? Like relatively its doing well since its charting pretty high. So I guess I don't actually know, but again, based on charting its doing well. Now granted, theres only one version on iTunes, unlike Rule/Sparkle and Days/Green which had mutltiple versions on Itunes making it impossible to know which it actually could peak at (ie one version of Rule ranked around 5 while the other ranked at around 70, that could have garnered something closer to one or two)

^ Its an indicator that the sales are at least decent, but we won't know whether they can be classified as "great" or not until the actual certification comes out. Rule was able to at least be certified Gold for downloads. There have been some extremely high digital sellers from other female artists though this year.

Yup yup we will have to wait and see. If Rule got it Sunrise has a chance I think.

Hopefully even more than gold. I was shocked to find out that several of Koda's recent singles (which I didn't think were that great) were certified double and triple platinum.

From RIAJ Japan. Recently these were certified: Chaku Uta: Moon Crying - Triple Platinum, Stay With Me - Double Platinum. Chaku Uta full: Moon Crying - Double Platinum, Stay with Me - Gold, It's all love - Gold, Taboo - Gold.

I was expecting Gold ranking at best for most of those songs.

I hope that S/S gets at least gold. :P

How much did Together when... sell then digitally if it wasn't a million? I don't know how many times Days was downloaded.

^ Ok, as far as I can tell, both were certified Platinum. (http://www.riaj.or.jp/data/others/ch...0_3.html#list2) I believe that is 250,000.(but can't remember exactly) But definitely no where near 1 million.

At least it went double platinum for Chaku uta.... so what that's 500,000 ring tones + 250,000 Chaku uta full. So 750,000? I don't think it works that way though (combining ring tone downloads and full downloads), right?

weird! i remember some (rumored) numbers that came out saying Together when... sold over 3 million digitally. i suppose i just wanted to believe the lie >.<

Anyways, tomorrows ranking should be interesting. Both Ayu and MM are known for huge drops but if MM throws a handshake event or something they could make the sales race interesting.

Most of Koda's singles only got Platinum+ certification for Ringtones and well she releases more often than Ayu I guess, not to mention that her songs tend to be more poppy :)

Ahem... That would be indeed very interesting. Then I guess avex will throw out more gifts on Saturday and Sunday (like... buy all two versions to receive a larger poster, and buy 4 cds to get a photograph... similar to MW :P)
