kuu in 3 years:

That's the reason why I'm proud to be her fan =] She doesn't need to release many stuffz to keep her up in ppl mind

nemesisyume 20th October 2009 01:14 PM

but srsly 5 singles in 3 years?

aloopy 20th October 2009 01:20 PM

namie doesn't release stuff that slow. it's just that ayumi and especially koda release stuff way too fast. and that's what makes us greedy

and i'm glad she isn't releasing stuff as fast. because most of the time it's worth the wait anyway

this :yes

she takes her own time to come up with material & usually , the result(s) is worth waiting for :)

nemesisyume 20th October 2009 01:23 PM

BUT SRSLY 5 SINGLES IN 3 YEARS?

even dead people release more than that

even like a 1 song digital release put somewhere in this 3 years it would feel more bearable

love in music 20th October 2009 01:36 PM

i'd like her to release more material too. i don't think an album a year is too much to ask for.

ville 20th October 2009 02:39 PM

yeah, maybe 3 singles for a year eould be good . . . and one album :p
but kuu's release speed is way too fast ! 24 singles in 3 years ;o yikes.

ayumi.hamasaki 20th October 2009 03:23 PM

I want to go to a hip hop course and want to learn namie dances

I would like to know which songs have dances and where I can see the dance like in PVs or Tours

Spiral 20th October 2009 04:42 PM

Her release schedule doesn't really bother me. It would be nice to get more things from her. I feel the amount of time she takes is because she wants to release something she feels proud of and wants to make sure it's of good quality instead of just throwing something together just cause she can.

Another reason why it doesn't bother me much is that at least she releases a single to appease us. Some groups I listen to don't even bother to give us a single. We get a full album every 3-6 years. Basically whenever they feel like it. An album a year? J-pop fandom sure is spoiled.

nemesisyume 20th October 2009 04:50 PM

I dont need one album a year
I would just like something like 3 singles a year
and the singles could srsly be one song and one remix I just want new stuff every now and then
is that too much to ask :thud

RyRyMini 20th October 2009 08:00 PM

It's quality over quantity. Ayu & Kuu have released some pretty crappy singles lately, lets face it. Every time Namie releases it's amazing. <3

nemesisyume 20th October 2009 08:02 PM

kuus latest singles and albums are awsum

RyRyMini 20th October 2009 08:07 PM

I don't think they were. xD

zyoeru 20th October 2009 08:14 PM

^ What's quality is a matter of taste, I don't mind Namie's release schedule tbh but I'd like an album every 2 years. :P

not even gonna count kuus :thud her 3 latest studio albums have sold over 2 million together

IF you ask me I'd rather have quality over quantity, some of those Ayu releases shouldn't even matter, seriously how many times haver her compilations had the same songs?, It's annoying, either way I don't care for sales, like I said it's more about the quality of a release, if an album had 16 songs but sucked I still wouldn't like it *cough* TRICK *cough*, but albums like PLAY, Queen Of Hip-Pop, and Concentration 20 are actually albums that have 12 songs and is still really strong as a whole.

nemesisyume 20th October 2009 08:23 PM

PLAY was a weak album imo
forgettable
boring
nothing new
last good album was Queen of hip-pop and that wasnt really yesterday

Celaphorce 20th October 2009 08:38 PM

I just think imo that it's not the sales that make the album, it's the album itself, sales are just an addition to what it can be. Your opinion you think PLAY is forgettable, myself on the other hand I think it's part of what brought her back to the top, if PLAY hadn't been released I doubt she'd even be where she is right now as far as popularity goes. Music wise she's always been a dime to me, she's good at what she does. I find Namie somewhat underrated when it comes to people looking at her career.
