Although it has a similar melody to Natasha Bedingfield's "Pocket Full Of Sunshine" and Owl City's "Tidal Wave."

I'm glad I'm not the only person who caught that x-x

oh yeah, I'm sooo happy that it came out this way.. so many people here in Germany think that Lady GaGa is just another pop idol like Britney Spears (they all think that Britney's music isn't sophisticated) and just because she sold so many records because of a song which doesn't sound like real music to them.. So I hope that they'll change their opinion with this song..

YES! Thank you, I couldn't remember the genre.

It's one of my favorite songs, and I think she was smart to do it that way.

Dance in the Dark is so 80's. but its not just because of the great synths but they like even made her voice sound like it was recorded in the 80s you know what I mean? Its fantastic.

And does Alejandro remind anyone of the 90's pop lol

this album cracks me up.

lol it does. The song Monster is really 80s too, it has that sound effect that was used so much in the 80s, I don't think I've heard it on any new songs really.

Are her songs really all censored in america?
I wouldn't even pay money for censored music...

Could someone tell me what the difference is between the Deluxe version (with the white mushroom wig) and the Limited Collecters Edition (with the black wig)?

Thanks. XD

U-GO-BOY 19th November 2009 07:04 PM

^ the white edition is the standard edition just with the 8 songs from Monster and the black version is the deluxe with all tracks from Monster + The Fame

Nope. The white hair deluxe is in a jewel case, and the black hair deluxe is in a digipak. They both have Monster and The Fame

the standard eight track version can have either cover

Is the Monster only version only available in america? I just browsed the german amazon and it only has the two 2CD versions

I believe so :( Which is odd because she announced that the album is going to be split IN Germany. Maybe the split version will come out later?

Evolution7/4 19th November 2009 09:07 PM

This is the different US editions:
Standard 8 track version-available in both blonde and brunette covers.
2 disc edition available in jewel case with blonde or first press limited digipack with brunette cover
And the fashion book edition with both CDs

noidea 19th November 2009 09:09 PM

that sucks...well, I might wait for the seperate release then, I was really looking forward to getting Monster without The Fame because I only like around 40% of it.

Evolution7/4 19th November 2009 09:13 PM

Video Phone is too hot that I can't listen to it. The breakdown with the bass drums pounding in my ears and then the synths come in, omg I can't take it <3333

I won't see the video until it comes out on iTunes though, I can't bear low quality YouTube videos.
