even though not many ppl know who is Ayumi Hamasaki in Indonesia, but many ppl use her pictures for their shops..specially those salons/clothes shops.. at least, ppl think she's pretty to be used as ppl's shops' images haha~~ |

Few years ago I happened to watch some document about Japan. They never mentioned it, but I definitely saw a Ayu poster on one of the huge buildings. It was from Tokyo, and the document dated back to 2002. I haven't had no luck trying to find that picture but she was promoting something though I know I have seen it before somewhere on the net. It wasn't a album though, it was a promotional poster for something.
Btw, document mentioned something about japanese people going to clubs to release the stress after work. I'm so sad that I don't even remember its name. >.> |

Starting from 0:16, I think there's a SWEET billboard on the right hand side with Ayu on it. Looks like Ayu to me. "Just Can't Get Enough" Video Sorry, don't know how to post videos. |

In 2006 I found ayu at some random shop in Odaiba, Tokyo. http://img691.imageshack.us/img691/8370/img5368ni.jpg And also I found her in my hometown at a chinese market 6 or 7 years ago. http://img16.imageshack.us/img16/4116/img4906a.jpg There was also some clothes or nail-art shop called "AYUMI" in my hometown. I remember they used one of her old pic as an advertisement. But unfortunately I didn't make a photo of it. |

Taiwanese drama "The Rice Family" has ayu. One of the daughters in the family has a couple of ayu posters taped up on her bedroom wall, so it makes an appearance in quite a few episodes. I think it was the Secret and BLUE BIRD posters. :D
